The holidays are to be spent with those you love - so how 'bout spending 12 dates of Christmas with that special someone! Here's my idea of a fun, romantic, and cozy December together.

1. A coffee shop tour

Pick a new place to go, and google all the local coffee places you can visit. Give yourselves a tour of the whole city or town via lattes and coco. Pick your favorites, but keep trying new things at every stop!

2. A christmas theater

Plays and musicals are always happening around the holidays! From It's a Wonderful Life to A Christmas Story, there are so many classics to see live! One of my favorite midwestern theaters is Circa 21 in Rockford, Illinois. They have a Christmas dinner theater every year that provides a delicious dinner, an amazing show, and the best peppermint sundae's for you both to share! It's also a great opportunity to dress up and take a night on the town.

3. A night in with the classics

If leaving your house to see the classics is too much work, why not snuggle up in some flannel pjs and fuzzy socks and binge watch all your favorites at home by the fireplace!

4. Volunteering in a local toy drive or soup kitchen

It's easy for this season to become all about you and the different gifts you are hoping to receive. This year, try volunteering together to give back and help everyone feel the love of Christmas. Not only will you be giving back, but you will also have the opportunity to meet some really amazing people. Local toy drives and soup kitchens are a great way to get involved.

5. A holiday light display

Pick a night to drive around in different neighborhoods! Some places go all out with their Christmas lights and decorations: plug in the aux cord, turn on the Christmas music, and look at the lights to get yourself in the spirit!

6. Holiday baking

Whether you like decorating cookies or building gingerbread houses, Christmas has some of the best desserts all year round. Forget the regret you'll have on the 26th, put on some aprons and bake some sweets.

7. Thrifting for ugly Christmas sweaters

Everyone loves a good trip to Goodwill, and when you have something fun like the ugly Christmas sweaters to search for it becomes all the better! To make it even more fun, try searching for sweaters for each other and see who will end up in the "better" of the two!

8. Christmas throwback

We all have some of our best memories around the holidays and of course parents and family who love to document it all. Go through each others family photo albums and home movies for some "awws" and great laughs!

9. Iceskating

This one might take a little effort and balance, but once you get the hang of it, iceskating together will be a fun challenge and a great memory.

10. Christmas crafting

Get out the paint and make ornaments, paint canvases, or even make some homemade gifts for each other!

11. Go to the mall together

Split up for 10 minutes with $10 each, & see who can come up with the most creative Christmas present for the other person. This way you can keep things interesting while only spending a small amount of money!

12. Wrap presents and stuff stocking

I don't know about you, but giving gifts is my favorite part of the season and that includes wrapping and decorating them too! Pick out some wrapping paper and spend a night wrapping all the presents you'll each be giving out this year.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
