9 Important Tweets I Love And Live By Every Day

During my free time, I love to explore Twitter. It's basically an accumulation of everyone's point of view on the vaguest to most intricate topics.

Here are some Tweets I live by:

1. "Everybody that comes into your life matters, they're either a blessing or a lesson"

In life people come and go, just like flies. Everyone you meet in life has a purpose. The boy you had your worst heartbreak with, he was a blessing, now he's a lesson of what you don't want in the future. Although it hurt you, in the end, you will be stronger because you had to endure pain.

2. "Live, and not from behind your phone screen"

People, put down your phone and actually experience what's going on. To be honest, do half the people on your Snapchat actually care about what you're doing? Do they even view it or just tap through it? These days people solely post on social media so people can see what they're doing. Half the time when people are too busy on their phone's posting away, they don't even pay attention to the people they're with, the pretty views they're looking at, and better yet some people even fake it for desired attention.

3. "Can't"

The word can't be simply just an excuse, it is all about prioritizing. If someone really wants to see you, they'll make the time. If someone wants to go somewhere, they will. Silly excuses derive from utter laziness, but at the end of the day, everyone CAN.

4. "You care too much

"Do not ever let someone tell you that you care too much. Yea, overthinking is one thing but showing someone how you feel towards them, asking about their day, how they are, etc. At the end of the day being there for those you care about will be returned in your favor. Being affected with human feelings is imperative and if someone tells you that you care too much, tell them to f ***off."

5. "It's a lonely feeling when someone you care about becomes a stranger."

In life, unfortunately, people come and go. The person you would laugh with for hours, stay up till 5 am talking to every day, hang out with on an everyday basis, etc. In life we cannot depend on others for our own happiness, we can't force people to stay in our lives because they're part of an everyday routine. Make your happiness a priority, & Be there for others, but never leave yourself behind.

6. "Never run back to what broke you."

Ladies and gentlemen, if something seriously tore you apart ... DO NOT go running back as soon as you get hit with that "wyd" or "I've changed" text. We all do it, there's no lying allowed here, but seriously if something broke you, people don't just change in the snap of a finger. You will get hurt again. It will NOT be worth it.

7. "Always hope but never expect."

If you're like me, you'll spend hours a day before bed thinking about all of the "what if "situations there are in your life. Sometimes you'll get so into thought you may even think something happened. If you dwell and think of all of the possible scenarios, you will drive yourself physically insane.

8. "You'll heal. It just takes time."

Use the tissues, and a friend's shoulder to lean on. Everything that kills you on the inside eventually will make you stronger. A breakup with a boyfriend/ girlfriend, losing a friend, failing a test, etc. These are all part of the learning process in life.

9. "Make your happiness a priority, & Be there for others, but never leave yourself behind."

Ultimately at the end of the day, you have "me, myself, and I "to worry about. You have to make decisions in life that will make you happy. If you think something you do will upset someone, talk to them because at the end of the day if something is going to make you happier, your friend will understand. Self-care!!!!

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
