In the midst of fall, everyone is back in school or under a heavy workload and sometimes you just need to forget about all your responsibilities and take to the bed. Here are some old shows you’ve hopefully hear of, classics from the 90’s, shows that have ended, and current shows you should get caught up on.

These shows have made television history with their record number of Emmy wins, by featuring characters in the LGBT community, their commentary on the political climate, being hysterically funny and uplifting, and just by simply being iconic.

Some oldies but goodies:

Way before Netflix and cell phones, back in a simpler time were a couple of comedic shows that are definitely worth a watch.

"M*A*S*H"

"I Dream of Jeannie"

"Get Smart"

90’s Classics:

If you ask me Friends is kind of overrated and I’ve never had an interest in watching Seinfeld so here are a couple of shows that will make you laugh, cry, and reach for the sherry.

"Will & Grace"

"Frasier"

"The West Wing"

Shows that have come and gone:

The following are a couple of shows that made an impact in people’s lives in the mid 200’s that everyone misses.

"Ugly Betty"

"Boston Legal"

"Parks and Rec"

Current shows to catch up on:

If you aren’t watching these yet get ready for your weave to be snatched and join in on the fun while they’re still on.

"How To Get Away With Murder," or anything by Shonda Rhimes really.

"Sherlock"

"Scream Queens"

Other noteworthy shows:

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The Mindy Project, Warehouse 13, Gossip Girl, Grace & Frankie, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Teen Wolf, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Musketeers, Game of Thrones, Cheers, House, The A-Team, MacGyver, Pushing Daisies, Spy, Made in Chelsea, Veep, Chuck, and Merlin among so many others.

So grab some popcorn, pour some wine, forget about your priorities, and happy binging!

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
