So many TV shows shaped our childhoods, it’s hard to choose the 10 best. I don’t know how kids today are surviving with mediocre television material. Back in our day, there were gems spread across Disney and Nickelodeon, so we would never be bored. Here is the compiled official list of the top 10 television shows from our childhood:

1. Lizzie McGuire

The show, the movie, all of it was amazing. Hilary Duff was an icon as Lizzie McGuire.

2. Zoey 101

Ahhh, PCA. What I would’ve given to drive around on one of those mopeds.

3. The Hills

This was the start of my “reality” television experience, and I loved it. Crazy to think they’re all basically married now.

4. Freaks and Geeks

This cast. This show. Even though there’s only one season, it is the best one season of a show you’ll ever see. If you don’t believe me, it’s on Netflix. Highly recommend

5. The Simple Life

They lived up to all the stereotypes. It was entertaining though.

6. Drake & Josh

Kind of stupid, kind of relatable, still funny and made you appreciate your siblings.

7. Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide

I’m not really sure what the actual lessons in the guidebook were, but still a good show. I also think I’m coconut head sometimes. (most times)

8. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

These boys, man. They were cute when I was growing up and they’re way hotter now. Can they do anything wrong?

9. That’s So Raven

The theme song was my jam. The show itself was entertaining and had good underlying messages.

10. Codename: Kids Next Door

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I loved this show. I wanted to straight up be one of these kids.

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
