A new trend in the realm of entertainment is the rebirth of old TV shows. No, they aren’t reboots, they’re continuations of old shows that were cancelled long ago and are back with a vengeance. For the film and television industry it’s a no brainer. Netflix streams tons of old TV shows that the old audience has expanded and people are itching for more episodes of shows that either left them hanging or have become a new obsession. I will say, I am a fan of many of the shows that have been brought back to life. Though I do love new TV shows and new ideas, sometimes I just can’t let go of a show that was cancelled on a cliffhanger or was so good I wished for more.

Here’s a list of blast from the past shows I've heard of that are coming back or have made a comeback already:

1. "Fuller House"

As a child I used to watch reruns of "Full House" nonstop. I was obsessed with the Olsen Twins and had a major crush on DJ’s boyfriend Steve. Though the acting is a bit over the top now, thanks to Kimmy, if you were a true fan, you’ll definitely enjoy this.

2. "Gilmore Girls"

Who doesn’t love Lorelai and Rory? The girls are back! And so is coffee.

3. "Twin Peaks"

I’ve been waiting for this continuation for years and years. It’s about time they gave the audience a satisfying ending, since the "Fire Walk With Me" was a true bust.

4. "The X Files"

The new episodes premiered early on this year, but I think most people were satisfied with it. Except for the possibility of a spin-off... people were really scared about that.

5. "The Powerpuff Girls"

I used to watch this show constantly as a child. These girls are not just back but they’re made over. Haven’t watched the new episodes yet but I’m not going to let being 26 stop me.

6. "Ash Vs. Evil Dead"

I haven’t seen it yet but I’m a big fan of Sam Raimi’s original "Evil Dead" films. I’ll definitely be checking this out. It's already on its second season.

7. "Girl Meets World"

If you loved Cory, Topanga and Shawn, this is a definitely a cute and satisfying series if you ever wanted to know what happened after the finale. They also bring back my favorite couple: Cory and Shawn.

Though it's just a rumor, here is a show I wish would come back!

8. "Will and Grace"

They came back for an ad campaign for Hillary Clinton and I’d love to see what they’d do if they just said "scratch the last episode of the series!" Though the last episode was beautiful and made me sob like a baby, I wish it never ended.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
