I watch Family Feud on TV with my family. Family Feud is a game show that is hosted by Steve Harvey. In this game show, two families go against each other by answering questions that Steve Harvey reads from a card. Most of the questions test your knowledge or ask something very funny. These questions are survey questions. You think of an answer and see if the board projects the answer. If the answer is not there, then there will be a strike in the form of a red X. The answers are ranked by how many points the survey will give you. For example, wolves will give you two points but birds will give you ten points because it is the number one answer.

The family with the most points or money will head on to the final round. The final round is where Steve Harvey asks some questions to a family member. The family member has to provide one answer for each question for twenty-five seconds. The family member can say, “Pass,” if he or she does not have an answer. Then, the family member and Steve Harvey will look at the board to see how many points the survey will give to each answer. After that, another family member will answer the same questions by providing a different response. There will be a sound if they repeated the previous family member’s answer. Then, the family member and Steve Harvey will check the board to see how many points the survey will give to each answer. The family member has to get a certain number of points to get his or her family the big prize. After the survey gives out the points, Steve Harvey reveals which answer is the number one answer. Some families got the big prize while other families did not. However, the family will come back to compete with another family in another episode.

Overall, this game show is very funny.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
