Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner and some of us don't have special someones to spend the day with, I thought I would create a list of the best television couples that you can spend the day with whether you are alone or with someone.
1. Jim and Pam, The Office
Their romantic relationship may have had a rocky start, probably due to the fact that Pam was engaged to another man, but we all knew that they were meant to be.
"And plan A was marrying her a long, long time ago. Pretty much the day I met her."
2. Eric and Tami, Friday Night Lights
Eric and Tami don't have the perfect marriage, but it's fairly close. They have their ups and their downs, but at the end of the day, they know what really matters.
"I love you. I respect you. I am proud of you. I am in love with you completely."
3. Nathan and Haley, One Tree Hill
Nathan wasn't the best guy to be around, let alone date or marry, in the beginning of the series, but Haley challenged him and made want to be a better man. That's what true love is, it's about being with someone who makes you want to strive to be better than you already are.
"Someday, this beach might wash away, the oceans may dry, the sun could dim, but on that day, I'll still be loving you. Always and forever. I promise you, Haley."
4. Ricky and Lucy, I Love Lucy
Ricky and Lucy met on a blind date and eventually married. Funnily enough, the actors who portrayed Ricky and Lucy were married in real life until their divorce in the 1960s. However, they stayed married on television and continued to play a dorky, entertaining, odd couple.
"Lucy, I'm home!"
5. Mitchell and Cameron, Modern Family
Mitch and Cam are the true
"You don't have to do anything for me. I love you just the way you are."
6. Andy and April, Parks and Recreation
April, the sarcastic and blunt personality, meets Andy, the goofy and dopey male supporting character in the series. At first, April is annoyed with Andy's antics and personality, but he grows on her and they fall in love.
"I guess I kind of hate most things, but I never really seem to hate you."
7. Finn and Rachel, Glee
Everyone can remember that crush they had on the guy who seemed so out of their league it wasn't even funny. This is an instance where that crush turned into something real. Rachel, the nerdy, show choir girl, has the biggest crush on Finn, the popular jock and starting quarterback. Finn doesn't notice her at first, but after singing endless duets together, their romance blossoms.
"You named a star after me?"
"Well, no. I, uh, thought about that, but then I named it Finn Hudson. Because there's already a star named Rachel Berry."
8. Jesse and Becky, Full House
This was my first OTP (one true pairing). Jesse meets Rebecca (Becky), Danny's costar on "Good Morning San Francisco" and is immediately taken by her beauty. However, he learns there is so much more to Becky than just her beauty and Becky learns that Jesse is more than a cocky, pretty face.
"If every word I said could make you laugh, I'd talk forever."
9. Chuck and Blair, Gossip Girl
Similar to Nathan Scott from One Tree Hill, Chuck was a rich, entitled jerk at the beginning of the Gossip Girl series. He also wasn't the most attractive man in the world, but that sure changed once Chuck became the man we all came to love, especially Blair. Sure, Chuck made some mistakes, but he and Blair were a match made in heaven because of their mischievous personalities.
"Of course I love you, Chuck. I've always loved you. I love you more and more every day if it's even possible to love someone that much."
10. Meredith and Derek (R.I.P.), Grey's Anatomy
Their relationship started off as a one-night stand between two people at a bar. I wish I could say it went better after that, but Meredith and Derek never had it easy. However, they adjusted and continued to fight on for their love and eventual marriage. Sadly, Shondra Rhimes had to break all of our hearts and ruin our lives.
"I love you in a really big, big pretend to like your taste in music, let you eat the last piece of cheesecake, hold a radio over my head outside your window, unfortunate way that makes me hate you love you."
