1. FaceTime is always a must.

Even though it's not the same as having them there in person, FaceTime is always a must with lost distance friends.

2. How your friends from home act when they finally meet your long distance friend:

The friends you have always seem to be very excited to meet your long distance friend!

3. How you are when someone from their new town calls them their "new best friend":

No matter how many miles away, no one can take your place as best friend.


4. How you feel while on the airplane to go see them:

There is nothing more exciting than going to visit your other half!

5. How they look at you when you finally arrive:

Even though you both have been planning this for months and counting down the days until it happened, it still feels surreal seeing them for the first time in months.

6. When you guys get together, it's like no time has passed.

No matter how long you've been apart, when you're back together it feels like you saw them yesterday!

7. People tend to think you two are a bit...odd.

When you two get together, things can get a little weird.

8. When your best friend is in town, plans with anyone else are pushed back.

No one can come between what limited time you two have together.

There's nothing worse than hugging your best friend goodbye, unsure of when the next time you see them will be.

Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home.
