Ephesians 3:11 – "He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart, yet man cannot find out [comprehend, grasp] what God has done from the beginning to the end."

One of the many amazing things about God is that He is constantly making things beautiful. He is constantly changing circumstances and allowing things in our lives for only a short season. The way God works is amazing because no matter what circumstance occurs in our lives, He is making it beautiful. No matter what the situation or circumstance is we must trust the process. Because everything occurs in seasons, I would say that in order for us to trust the process, we must embrace the season. The word embrace means, "an act of accepting or supporting something willingly or enthusiastically." To embrace means to see something as it truly is and accepting it.

Whenever something good or bad occurs in our lives it is easy to run to things that are familiar to us. We could run to social media or friends. But there is a big difference between running to things that are familiar and running straight to God. See when we run to things that are familiar, it is easy to fall back into old patterns that we were already freed from at the moment of salvation. When we run straight to God we are able to get clarity and peace. The problem or situation is no longer controlled by us, but it is completely in God's hands. This leads us to trusting the process and embracing the season.

God wants us to trust Him and He wants us to embrace the season. Because everything we go through is a lesson. Everything that happens in our lives, brings glory to God in some way even if we do not see it at the present moment. Son and daughters, no matter where you are in life learn to trust the process and fully embrace your season. No matter what, God will make it beautiful in His appropriate time. You may not be able to comprehend it now, but God will allow you to comprehend it, in His perfect timing. So today lean in, let go, trust and embrace.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
