Trump's second best friend, right behind Mike "Conversion Therapy" Pence, is his precious twitter account.
To be fair, besides FOX, it's the only way he can get his point of view out there. The media does drag him through the mud, but he makes it too easy sometimes. I don't understand how his twitter is freedom of speech, but a cast of a Broadway show asking our Vice President to do right by the American people is cause for boycotting.
Once again conservatives, if you don't want people to think you are racist homophobes, maybe don't get offended when diverse group of individuals asks our VP to represent them fairly. They have no reason to apologize, and the cast told the audience to stop booing Pence; just like no one is holding Trump responsible for his followers actions, you can't hold the Hamilton cast responsible for their audience's behavior.
I truly believe that Trump is trying to be a great guy, but he is digging his own grave most of the time. SNL was built on making fun of people, including the president, but when they make fun of Trump he takes to Twitter. I also found it odd, that he was okay with them making fun of him during election season, but now it's offensive.
He also said that you should lose your citizenship for burning the American flag; while I think that it is more than disrespectful to burn our flag, I know that the Supreme Court ruled it freedom of speech. So Trump is basically saying you should lose your citizenship for utilizing your freedom of speech, and I don't think that is the kind of message a president should be stating.
I just feel like if you are going to be president, and run a country that was split on votes, you are going to have to accept the fact that some people won't like you. A lot of people didn't like Obama, but he didn't take to twitter. He handled it like an adult. That being said, Trump has freedom of speech, so nothing can stop him from taking to Twitter.
