There seems to be a lot of confusion in this election as to how Trump was able to surpass so many of his running mates to become the republican candidate. Something seems to be a bit hairy about the whole situation (and I'm not talking about Trump's toupee).

There are some theories out there that have a striking amount of evidence to back them up. One of the most popular ideas as to how Trump trumped others is that Hillary and Bill Clinton have teamed up with Donald Trump to rig the election. It wouldn't be the first time that there is speculation of Hillary rigging anything, but there actually seems to be a lot of signs pointing towards this modern conspiracy theory. Hear me out.

1. Trump was a democrat for 30+ years.

This one is not as big of a deal. People switch their political opinions all the time. When he registered to vote, he was a democrat. Then he switched in 1987 to be republican. Then he switched again in 2001 to be a democrat. In 2004, though, he tossed around the idea of running for president as a democrat. It does raise a red flag that he could have thought to run in elections as a democrat when he is now running as a republican.

2. Trump donated money to some of the democratic party's non-profits.

It was reported that Trump donated a decent chunk of change to Bill Clinton's non-profit, the Clinton Foundation. The organization claims that Trump has donated about $100,000. Also, he donated $25,000 to Democratic Campaign Committees. According to some sources, Trump had ultimately donated more money to the democratic party than the republican party until 2011. Now, he solely donates to the republican party.

3. Trump and the Clintons are buddy buddy.

The Clintons were invited to Trump's 2005 wedding to his current wife, Melania Knauss Trump. Bill Clinton and Donald Trump have gone golfing together, and Bill Clinton was reported saying that Donald is "uncommonly nice" to the Clinton family.

4. Bill Clinton talked politics with Donald Trump just weeks before his presumptive nomination.

There have been five inside sources stating that Trump and Clinton had an exchange shortly before Trump announced his true intention to run. This phone call has been deemed private, so no one is able to discuss anything specific, but there is a short article that highlights all the important pieces. The four sources close to Trump say that Clinton never encouraged Trump to run, but they did discuss Trump's plan.

So even though this could simply be a myth, we can never truly know until we see what happens. Many believe that Trump will find the whole thing to be too boring to follow through or that he isn't likeable enough to truly win. There are so many people who doubt Trump's ability to lead the country, including white collar republicans. It seems hard to believe that he is actually going through with this. So the theory is that it might be possible Trump could have been used in this election as a piece of Hillary's game. What do you think?

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.

I've known you your entire life. More than likely I held you in the first three days of it and at least one of us cried. Cousins are truly one of the best things in the world and while sometimes I complain about how many people crowd Grandma's living room on Christmas Eve, I wouldn't trade you all anything.

You are my best friends, the only people who can understand what it's like on Thanksgiving, and you are the spunkiest people I have ever met. But you as so so young, most of you are just now starting your adventures in the public education system. I mean, I'm so very young too. I'm not married, I don't have children, heck, I just started my adult life, but I do want to give you what little advice I have. My dears, these are the things I want you to know.
