Trumping The Competition

Three reasons you need to vote Trump.

Trump.

No better controversy than him these days, is there? In the following words, I’m going to tell you why you should #voteforTrump2k16 to #makeAmericagreatagain. Now, before you start calling me a bigoted, sexist, racist that has no sense of morals or political justice, I want to let you know, I’ll soon be analyzing Hillary’s strengths, so stay tuned and try to have an open mind with me.

Let’s dive right in, shall we? Here are three compelling reasons you should vote for Donald Trump in the upcoming election over the rest of the competition:

1. He’s unapologetic about what he believes in.

Look at you, you’re already in an internal uproar simply because I suggested you vote for him; doesn’t that say something in itself? We get that he doesn’t yet know how to effectively communicate with his adversaries, but practice makes perfect, am I right? There’s really nothing a good handler can’t fix (and a good makeup artist that doesn’t let him walk around with an orange face). Here’s a man that doesn’t give up on what he believes in and won’t back down, even when the presidency is on the line.

Sure, maybe he doesn’t know everything about foreign policy yet, but JFK didn’t know FP either, and remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

2. He’s concerned about your money.

This man loves the paper green more than life, and he’s got a four-step plan that looks past our crippling debt and stagnate economy. He brought his business out of the dirt of bankruptcy and into the shining light of success and fame. Okay, maybe he can’t fame his way out of $19.3 trillion of debt, but he can bring a businessman’s perspective to the table, and that might be just what the doctor ordered (except you, the American people, are the doctor). His plan focuses on creating jobs, simplifying the tax code, and leveling the playing field for Americans in every class.

Google it, he’s got some solid points.

3. He cares about your rights, as an American citizen, more than any other candidate.

Let’s emphasize ‘American Citizen’ in this statement. Everyone’s heard about the wall to shame all other walls, and while this element may not be one of his most loved in his platform, it holds to some unadulterated principles. Trump stands by his beliefs that citizens of other countries should not be entitled to more benefits than citizens of the great Melting Pot itself. He’s not trying to throw out the legal citizens that have joined us from neighboring countries, just create better guidelines that encourage equality in every aspect.

Fairness for the American people is his game, and working on how to properly address other races is.. His other game.

These are just three minute reasons you should comb over Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential platform. Underneath all that spray tan and bravado are some positions that hold significant weight in American society today. Listen, it’s easy to hate the guy, so why don’t you challenge yourself a little and, as the Beatles might possibly say (but probably wouldn’t), come together right now, over Trump.

Check out his platform for yourself, DJT might just surprise you, yet.

10 Truths About Being In A Sorority

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
