The past few days, my Facebook newsfeed has been plastered with articles depicting protesters holding signs, wanting California to succeed from the Union. I viewed live feeds of high schoolers walking out of their schools. I saw college students marching against our president-elect and empty seats in my classes because students refused to attend class. Protesters in big cities across America blocked the streets and yelled, "This isn't my America."
I received an email Friday from my university, offering counseling services to those in need. And I lost it.
No one died. No tragedy occurred. Nothing of the sort.
People are upset their candidate lost and they needcounseling? They need a safe place? Colleges are canceling mid-terms, providing comforting hugs, and even crying rooms because a liberal lady in a pantsuit (with a striking resemblance to Kim Jong-un's) lost the election. This has got to be a joke.
While Hillary supporters are rioting, protesting, and walking-out, us Trump supporters will be working, celebrating Veteran's Day, and going to class.
