Mr. Trump, A "True Feminist"

He's every woman's dream

Mr. Trump, A "True Feminist"

With the upcoming elections coming in early November people are beginning to think about who they will elect for president. Although I am not in love with either one of the options we have for president, I know for sure that I will not be voting for one Mr. Donald Trump. As a woman, and a person with a soul, I refuse to let such a selfish sexist pig be my president. Mr. Trump what you have said throughout your life, no matter how long ago it was, about woman is disgusting and inappropriate.

Well Mr. Trump, when people decide to go off and serve their country, they do not think that their fellow people are going to attack them. They should believe that all people there, are there to fight for the law, and uphold the law. They have it in their minds that there is a possibility that yes, they might get bombed or shot, but they most certainly did not think that they would go fight for their country and be sexually assaulted. (Notice how I did not say women at all? That’s because that women are not the only ones that get assaulted.)

Yes, there might have been blood coming out of her vagina. That tends to happen to about 50 percent of the human population. That does not mean that you can say these things just because someone says something against you or that you do not agree with. “Oh, yeah he said some messed up stuff today. Probably because he couldn’t get it up.” How would it feel someone commenting on your “manhood” if you can even call it that, someone commenting on something that you can not control? Wouldn’t enjoy that very much now would you Mr. Trump.

Well Mr. Trump, while I am not favorable to either of my candidates in the 2016 election, (like most of the country) I am more than happy to explain to you that I am not electing a president based on how they look. I am electing a president that upholds the morals that I believe in. Seeing as neither you nor Secretary Clinton uphold anything that I am looking for in a president I am forced to vote for the lesser of two evils, and that Mr. Trump, will never be you.

This recent story that came out earlier in October has been played off by some people because it happened so long ago. Others stated that it shouldn’t matter because it’s not as bad as what former President Clinton had done. While I do not agree with what President Clinton had done, not one woman was forced into sleeping with him. Mr. Trump believes that he can have any woman that he wants whenever he wants. Think of it this way, if you have a sister, mother, girlfriend, wife, or daughter, would you be fine with Mr. Trump just walking up to them and just “Grabbing them by the pussy”? Food for thought.

When his ex-wife Ivana came out that she was raped by Mr. Trump he made a comment saying that it was “Obviously false". Because obviously Mr. Trump is correct here, any other person accused of rape will tell you the same thing, the woman is making it up. Us women just need to learn don’t we Mr. Trump? Us being women, we were born asking for it. You men that force your penis inside our body is just something that we need to learn isn’t your fault, it is ours. If your ex-wife wasn’t enough HELL, go to town on the other 12 women that have come forward with different kinds of assault accusations you caused, because again they’re making it up.

You see, many people believe that these stories are all false. That these women are only coming out with these stories now for the publicity. I want you to read the next few lines VERY carefully. No person who has been sexually assaulted wants anyone to know about it, let alone want the world to know about it. Another reason why these women are probably coming out now is because they never thought that it would come to this. To a clearly sexist pig, who believe women are objects to be so close to being the next president.

I am not trying to persuade you to vote for Hillary, because I could go off on a million and one things wrong with her as well. However, I am trying to encourage you to NOT vote for one Mr. Donald Trump. Think about how the world will see us. With women making up 50 percent of the world’s population, other countries are going to lose respect for us because we can not respect ourselves. Please remember all of this when you are voting.

Go out and vote! Make the right choice.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
