Trump is the Man for the Job

Elect Trump and elect a brighter future.

Trump is the Man for the Job

Who do you want as your president for the next 4 to 8 years? A successful business-man or a criminal politician? This election is not about whether a man or a woman is elected; this election is about whether we "Make America Great Again", or we give up all hope to America being America. This election determines who the next Supreme Court Justices are. With how corrupt the Clinton Administration is, do you really want Hillary to choose who will be in that position for decades to come?

Donald Trump is THE man for the job. He is the only option we have, love him or hate him. Hillary Clinton should be in prison, and a third-party candidate has NEVER won a presidential election. Third party candidates only split the votes. This only leaves us with Trump as a viable option.

Trump actually does have many plans to hold up his slogan and "Make America Great Again". One big issue this election has been taxes. Trump wants to implement huge tax cuts not just for the wealthy and for businesses, but also for the middle-class. Tax cuts for businesses will give those businesses more money. More money for a business means multiple things: businesses can expand (which would create more jobs), pay their employees higher wages (which would put more money into the economy), and stay in the United States. Trump wants to keep businesses (which means jobs) in America. If businesses taxes are decreased, then they will not want to leave the country to move to China or other countries where they can obtain cheaper labor.

Our economy is in trouble. Trump's tax cut policy has been discussed in the previous paragraph, but that's not the only plan he has for bettering our economy. Trump understands that lower taxes and more jobs equal a better economy. With the companies being able to pay their employees higher wages and hire more employees, more money will go back into the economy. Tax cuts on the middle class will give middle class people more money in their pockets. This means more money to spend freely. The more jobs we have, more money we have, and less taxes we have, the better our economy will become. A business man understands how the economy works much more than a life-long, corrupt politician.

Our country is also in danger from outside of our borders. ISIS has become a serious problem. Hillary pretends that ISIS is not a huge problem. She wants to act like opening our borders to Muslim countries without properly vetting them is a great idea. She is being so naive if she honestly thinks that allowing Muslims into the country without knowing their feelings toward our country. Trump wants to end ISIS. He has plans to stop the terrorist group. Stopping this group will eventually make opinions towards Islam better. If ISIS continues to torture and kill in the name of Islam, people's opinions towards the religion and the countries will be bad. Whether or not ISIS represents Islamic and Muslim people correctly or not is not what the issue is. The issue is that this group causes non-radicals to be seen in a bad light.

Trump also wants stronger borders. He wants to stop illegal immigration, not all immigration. He wants to strengthen the Mexican border to keep out drugs and illegal immigration. He wants the borders to be able to vet people better before they can enter the country. He has no problem allowing Muslims into the country, he just wants to be sure not to let any radicals into our country. Trump is focused on keeping Americans safe, whereas, Hillary is focused on political correctness.

Law and Order. There are two candidates which means two different views on how to fix the divide between the police and African-Americans. Hillary thinks the police are to blame for doing their jobs, but Trump isn't so idiotic. Police officers go to their jobs everyday and put their lives in danger to keep American citizens safe. Trump says we need law and order in our country, and he is right. It isn't the cops fault for killing someone with the intention of killing them. If a cop feels his/her life is in danger, they have every right to defend themselves. People in this country need to respect the police more.

Let's talk about health care for a second because what would a political campaign be without acknowledging the insane rates and premiums. Obama-care has caused insurance rates to shoot-up higher than ever before. Rates have risen upwards of 70%, and coverage has decreased. Obviously something is wrong. Trump wants to get rid of this horrendous system. He wants health care to be more affordable. Hillary says she wants affordable health care, but she supports Obama-care? Please. Obama-care is the reason healthcare is so un-affordable.

Trump knows money and how the economy works. Our nation is 20 trillion dollars in debt, we don't need a politician, we need a businessman. We need someone who understands money, someone who understands the economy, someone who can help us get out of debt. This someone is Donald Trump.

Trump is honest, and he is doer. Hillary is all talk. She has been in different government jobs where she could have helped America, but all she has done is talked about what she should do and never done anything. Hillary Clinton has failed our country too many times to count, don't let her fail us again. She is a criminal, a liar, and a failure. Elect Trump and Make America Great Again. Elect Trump and elect a brighter future.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
