Everything seen below that comes after the names of one of the nominees are their positions taken from their campaign websites, and it's purpose it to hopefully shed a little more light on where they stand with policies.
Immigration Reform
Trump:
1. A nation without borders is not a nation. There must be a wall across the southern border.
2. A nation without laws is not a nation. Laws passed in accordance with our Constitutional system of government must be enforced.
3. A nation that does not serve it's own citizens is not a nation. Ant immigration plan must approve jobs, wages and security for all Americans.
Clinton:
1. Enact comprehensive immigration reform to create a pathway to citizenship, keep families together, and enable millions of workers to come out of the shadows.
2. Defend President Obama's executive actions to provide deportation relief for DREAMers and parents of Americans and lawful residents, and extend those actions to addition persons with sympathetic cases if Congress refuses to act.
3. Promote naturalization and support immigrant integration. End family attention and close private immigrant detention cents.
Healthcare Reform
Trump:
1. Completely Repeal Obamacare. Our elected representatives must eliminate the individual mandate. No person should be required to buy insurance unless he or she wants to.
2. Modify existing law that inhibits the sale of health insurance across state lines. As long as the plan purchased complies with state requirements, any vendor ought to be able to offer insurance in any sate. By allowing full Competition in this market, insurance costs will go down and consumer satisfaction will go up.
3. Allow individuals to fully deduct health insurance premium payments from their tax returns under the current tax system. Businesses are allowed to take theses deductions so why wouldn't Congress allow individuals the same exemptions? As we allow the free market to provide insurance coverage opportunities to companies and individuals, we must also make sure that no one slips through the cracks simple because they cannot afford insurance. WE must review basic options for Medicaid and work with states to ensure that hose who want healthcare coverage can have it. (only the first three points are listed here, the rest can be found on his campaign website under Positions: Healthcare Reform)
Clinton:
1. Defend the Affordable Care Act and build on it to slow the growth of out-of-pocket costs.
2. Crack down on rising prescription drug prices and hold drug companies accountable so they get ahead by investing in research, not jacking up costs.

Veterans
Trump:
1. Ensure our Veterans get the care they need wherever and whenever they need it. No more long drives. No more waiting for backlogs. No more excessive red tape. Just the care and support they earned with their service to our country.
2. Support the whole veteran, not just their physical healthcare, but also by addressing their invisible wounds, investing in our service members' post-active duty success, transforming the VA to meet the needs of 21st century service members, an better meeting the needs of our female veterans.
3. Make the VA great again by firing the corrupt and incompetent VA executives who let our veterans down, by modernizing the VA, and empowering the doctors and nurses to ensure our veterans receive the best care available in a timely manner.
Clinton:
1. Put our veterans needs first by ensuring access to timely and high quality care and blocking efforts to privatize the VA.
2. Ensure that the men and women who risk their lives for our country have access to a good education and good jobs when they come home by solidifying services and programs that connect veterans to jobs after their service.
3. Strengthen services and support for military families who serve alongside our service members.
