I will never forget my very first crush, Aaron Carter. Some of you may know him as Nick Carter's little brother, the "I Want Candy" hit singer, Hilary Duff's ex-boyfriend, or most importantly as my soon to be husband. Now, Aaron Carter and I have quite a past and I am writing this in order to reach out to him and remind him of the times we once shared.

Aaron Carter, do you remember me and our love story?

My extended family lives in New York, some of them in the city. One summer my mother, sister and I made a trip to the Big Apple to visit them and see the sights. We hadn't bought Broadway tickets before hand and realized that we really wanted to see a show. While in line for tickets, a woman handed me a brochure for an off-Broadway show playing that afternoon. My eyes glossed over as I looked down at it, my jaw dropped slowly, I felt like the luckiest girl alive. "STARRING AARON CARTER" was plastered over the top of the brochure and as my mother saw my face, she instantly knew she was buying me tickets.

We got to the show early when there weren't very many people in line. There was an elevator we had to take in order to get to the show. So the doors opened and another family and my own got in. As the doors were shutting a hand stopped them in order to get in at last minute.

It was a beautiful hand.

The owner of the hand smiled, apologized and stood next to me in the elevator. I looked up at him.

"Aaron Carter? Can I get a picture?"

It was in fact, Aaron and he smiled as confirmation. "I promise I'll find you after the show, I'm running late," he answered and dashed out of the elevator the second the doors opened. My smile fell, there was no way the absolutely handsome Aaron Carter would find me after the show but I crossed my fingers in hope.

But boy did I think wrong! As the show began, he had a moment where he ran out into the audience. My mother, sister and I were thankfully in the aisle seats as he did so. As he ran out, he grabbed my mom's shoulder as if they were longtime friends. Then as the show concluded we waited patiently outside of the show's doors to meet him in case he would fulfill his promise. He came out to the group of audience members waiting and looked straight at me.

"Hold on," he said. He went to each and every other fan, talking and this dismissing them as they left the show. Finally, my family was the only one left. Can you believe it!? He came right up to us and gave us each a hug, took pictures and signed autographs. And yes, his autograph does hang up on my bedroom wall. He also kissed me on the freaking cheek, and followed me not only on Twitter but Instagram too. He was lovely and beautiful and I was on cloud nine for the rest of the week.

Fast forward a year and I attended a concert of his in Scottsdale, Ariz. in hopes of rekindling our flame. Nothing.

Fast forward another year and I attend another concert, arriving extremely early to be in the very first row.

To make things even more crazy, Aaron serenaded my friend and me from the very front row, touched our cheeks and kissed them, then let us kiss his cheek! He also asked for a volunteer on stage and as you can see I jumped on like a mad woman.

Fast forward a couple more months... and I received an unfollow from Aaron on both Instagram and Twitter. I was heartbroken, he had clearly decided our long-distance relationship was over. Even though our love story has come to a close, I will never forget these precious moments we had together.

So Aaron Carter,

I write this story to you to remind you of the beautiful times we had, the times where we fell in love or at least, I with you. I wish to reminisce with you about the times I have worshiped you from 2nd grade until now that I am nearly 20-years-old. And most importantly I would like to request one simple thing...

Call me sometime??

Love your favorite ex-girlfriend,

Madison Kaiden

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
