For those unfortunate souls who may have missed the episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with guests Ellen Degeneres and Justin Timberlake, do me a favor and stop reading this article and go watch it. For those of you lucky enough to have watched such an impeccable show, you understand why these three celebrities are the true definition of squad goals for a variety of reasons.

The stars go very far back. Many can remember Justin and Jimmy on SNL, being the dynamic duo that they are. When these two interact, it as if they know each other's next move and communicate in such a way that only they can understand. Even on the show, they go into a default voice when talking to each other.

All three of them also know each other well outside of their productions that are on their shows. Jimmy, Ellen, and Justin all talk about their families, personal lives, and interactions they’ve had off-screen. As if you weren't in love with the three already, realizing they are real people just melts your heart even more.

Not only are they close with each other, I think it is safe to say that everyone loves them together. Who wouldn’t want to be around three goofballs and join in on the fun? They can do just about anything with absolutely no judgment or repercussion.

Speaking of getting away with just about anything, they can completely embarrass each other on live television and still be as close as ever. Only a select few would be okay with unflattering picture of themselves on a mug to be shown on TV. Not only was Jimmy okay with this, he kept the fun going by taking it a step further.

Ellen also ads her own twist to the Justin and Jimmy duo. Her sense of humor throws a little curve ball into the mix, allowing viewers to enjoy the trios dynamic even more. Ellen's goofy side often pressures the other two to step up their game.

These three also share everything together. Justin goes on Jimmy's show. Jimmy goes on Ellen's show. It's just a big love triangle between the three without the mess. They seem to take pride in each other's work and do as much as they can to showcase and support them.

The real reason these three are the definition of true squad goals boils down to their personalities. All three want to have fun and can go months without talking to one another, but come back and act as if nothing has changed. Watching these three enjoy each other's company is rather refreshing. Let's be honest here, we are all obsessed with the three of them, so having them all on one show is absolutely remarkable.
