21 Signs You've Found The "One"

Every day people ask the question "When am I going to find the one?" And by the one, of course I mean the destined, soulmate-level best friend you've been waiting for your whole life!

Early 2000s sitcoms and classic Disney movies have shaped our moldable minds into the conclusion that a happy life requires that one loyal and inseparable friend we'll have forever. The search is constant, and seasoned BFFs will tell you when you find the person "you'll just know."

Sometimes it is hard to "just know," so please keep reading for 21 indications you've found the one you've been searching for based on the most epic friendship online tv-streaming has ever brought us: Troy and Abed.

How you know you've found the Abed to your Troy:

1. You have a handshake or hand gesture greeting that only occurs with this person and is always executed at the same time without error.

2. When one leads, the other always follows without questioning.

3. You both relish in reverting back to childhood as often as possible.

4. As painful as it is to admit, there are things the other person are better at than you, but it doesn't form a riff between you.

5. Your best friend will never let you purposely embarrass yourself, no matter how comfortable you are in your own skin.

6. They understand you could never seriously be mad at them. It's impossible.

7. You're so close, you don't even have to finish each other's sentences for others to know how in-sync you are.

8. You're always prepared for the jealous haters trying to suck the fun out of your relationship.

9. You always want that person to be the one to break hard truths to you because it is comforting hearing it from him/her.

10. You can be your FULL self with them, and his/her weirdness makes you love them even more!

11. The one is never afraid to get sarcastically sassy with you to put you in your place.

12. You can't handle being away from each other for more than a day.

13. You are forever each other's plus-one to all formal events and parties.

14. Together, you dream up brilliant ideas, plans and schemes. (Others may not see the appeal)

15. You only want to share funny stories and experiences with the one because he/she will laugh and appreciate it no matter what.

16. You never judge what they wear or how they look, but you aren't afraid to call him/her out with fashion tips when necessary.

17. You know exactly what annoys them and try to avoid it unless you need a good laugh. (You know they'll get over it quickly)

18. When you need a hug, the one is the first person you go to.

19. He/she is your biggest fan and makes you feel like a rockstar every day by supporting and complimenting you.

20. You aren't embarrassed to ask him/her questions about social niceties or phrases that are obvious to everyone else but you.

21. There are very few things you disagree on, and you always have each other's best interest at heart.

If you have found the one- your best friend and better half of you — let them know how much you appreciate them! A best friendship is more than most people could ever hope for, and it can make a good life even sweeter and more adventurous.

So laugh. Go on adventures. Encourage. Comfort. Love. Share inspirations. Point each other toward Christ. Do all the things your best friend deserves because he/she do those things for you on the reg!

Significant others will come in and out of the picture, but the One is in it for the long haul. Be thankful. Your search is over. You've found the Troy to your Abed!

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
