What can I say? Curiosity killed the cat! I have a few friends that use a dating site/app called OkCupid and decided to give a try. OkCupid is a lot different from Tinder or any other sort of dating app.
On this site, you answer all sorts of questions relating to ethics, dating, lifestyle, sex and religion and the site generates a match percentage to other users. The profile, rather than being just a simple, little “about me”, prompts users with areas like “What I’m Doing With My Life” and “6 Things I Couldn’t Live Without”. It then displays the categorized questions and based off those it draws some conclusions and lists you traits. For example, mine say more nerdy and literary, political, and less confident, trusting and dominate. Interested by the sites promises of actually looking into potential matches whether they be for dating or just meeting new people around me, I got right into it and found I immediately had some messages.
Unfortunately, not everyone on this site is a charmer. So much so that I’ve started my very own hall of fame.
Unfortunately, he never replied. I may never know why he wanted my shoe size...
This was a weird one. Unfortunately it was not the last message from a Sugar Daddy I received.
Although the "lot of cash" was tempting...I just wasn't up for meeting with "DaddyBluez".
Not sure why this guy felt the need to message me....but cool fish.
Poor thing had no idea Logan Lerman is one of my favorite actors...
An odd message indeed...but he had a cool dog, I could not resist.
Unfortunately, ignoring another snarky compliment (I think it was a compliment??) got me compared to Donald Trump.
These are only some of my favorites. This site is loaded with creepers who send endless streams of weird messages. It's kind of hard not to take what they say personally as they are commenting on your image. But was my expierce negative? Actually no, every once in a while, you'll find it's totally worth it for the laughs you'll get just looking at some of these profiles (these are in fact, real profiles):
