Game of Thrones Fans across the Narrow Sea continue to weep for the character who repeatedly proved himself to be more than simply Ned Stark’s Bastard.

A Tribute to Jon Snow

*1 spoiler included*

When mentally preparing yourself for a "Game of Thrones" season finale, it is imperative to have your tender, loving heart guarded and ready for the unfathomable – the death of your favorite character. Within the realms of Westeros, Bravos, and Esos, tragic deaths are a common occurrence; so common that you actually begin to believe that you are accustomed to the sight of each beloved characters’ final moments.

But nothing, I repeat, nothing, could have prepared the world for the death of the charming, brave, admirable, passionate, and adorable Jon Snow. As someone who has personally made multiple declarations that if the 998th Lord Commander’s “watch would end,” my own watch of "Game of Thrones" as a whole would also end. Okay, maybe that’s a tad dramatic.

In honor of the beautiful life of Jon Snow, I have compiled some of everyone's favorite bastard’s greatest moments.

1. When he showed his sensitive side

2. When he first adopted Ghost

3. When he got naked ~

4. When he tried to warn Castle Black that the Widlings weren't playin'

5. When he defended his manhood

6. When he actually smiled

7. When he didn't back down from a fight

8. When he made passionate threats

9. When he was noble (basically always)

10. When the struggle was too real

11. When he first made us fall in love with cripples, bastards, and broken things

12. When he showed empathy to others (didn't work out so well with Ollie)

I believe that most people can agree that Jon Snow was the highlight of each episode and his absence from the next seasons will leave an emptiness in our hearts. Therefore, without further adieu, I formerly announce my farewell to Jon Snow. #R.I.P.

Yet a single question remains...is he really dead? Hopefully in 10 excruciating long and painful months we will discover that the story of Jon Snow is still being written.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
