Trial And Error

Thriving for less worries and less craziness.

My favorite part about the ocean is feeling so small.

Fewer worries, fewer emotions and less craziness in the world for those few moments are always worth it. Nowadays, while watching and hearing about the craziness in this world, it’s challenging to choose to focus on the good parts.

Everyone has a different interpretation of this world. We have the choice to see this world as deadly, cruel and destructive. We can see it as hopeless and depressing.

Even though I do get in those funks sometimes where I get sad about what our world has been, I see it as a perfect time to have a chance to make a difference and experience true love with real people. In my opinion, our world needs more people who aren’t going to be afraid to forgive, who aren’t going to be afraid to love people without fearing of not being loved back, who aren't afraid to go against the norm or help as many people as you can without asking for anything in return. Things aren’t going to go perfectly by any means, and people aren't always going to agree with you or appreciate you.

Life is a big game of trial and error. The beauty of this is finding out the real people of the world, helping people in need and finding true happiness in whatever that maybe.

Let’s be less focused on the hating and more focused on things that actually matter by caring for one another through thick and thin and realizing this life isn’t forever.

Always find the good in the world, even if it’s hard to recognize, because life is too dang short for negativity.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.

From sea to shining sea, the United States was uniquely positioned for an incredible Aurora Borealis display on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, going into Friday, Oct. 11.

It was the second time this year after an historic geomagnetic storm in May 2024. Those Northern Lights were visible in Europe and North America, just like this latest rendition.
