Not too long ago, these 18 items were something every child begged there parents to buy them. As time moves on and we all get older, it is important to remember the things of the past that made our childhood what it was. Here are the 18 items that explain the childhood us now 20-year-olds once had.

1. Webkinz.

Webkinz: a time of the past but still present today. These fluffy friends were something ever kid begged there parents to buy them until they had all animals possible.

2. Tamagotchi.

Who remembers when taking care of there Tamagotchi friend was there most important task of the day? Well, this fad of taking care of our cute robotic friends was one that made us children crazy especially when they would die before 23 days were up.

3. Club Penguin.

If only Club Penguin was still as cool as it was before. This interactive game was one that had us on our computers for hours on end. From joking around to getting kicked off the game from saying something wrong, club penguin was a time indeed.

4. Silly Bands.

Seeing how many silly bands can fit on your wrist was something all of us children loved to do. Until one day, these rubber bracelets got banned from middle schools since it was hazardous to students.

5. Smencils.

A smell you'll never forget. These smelling pencils of all flavors ensured to smell up the entire classroom, at all times.

6. Jibbitz for Crocs.

Crocs are still on the market but not too long ago we children ensured to buy every single Jibbitz on the market, filling up the entire Croc with different designs because back then it was considered "cool."

7. Sidekick phone.

Let me tell you... if you owned a Sidekick phone you weren't just cool but you were considered a goddess. Anyone that owned one of these things was almost always asked by someone if they could "flip the screen."

8. Flip video.

A Flip Video camera is pretty much ancient compared to what technology has brought us today but at the time this little video camera was one every single person was ensuring to buy. Making videos as a child was something we all knew and loved.

9. iPod.

When the first ever white iPod came out...let's just say it was a BIG DEAL. Say bye bye to our cassette players and boom boxes and say hello to music on a device!

Think back to the past to when you forgot your Nintendo at home...it was worse than leaving your phone at home.

A sneaker that allowed you to wheel around or just walk normally. This legendary idea slowly became unknown to many due to many worried parents.

Livestrong bracelets, breast cancer awareness bracelets, you name it. If there was a silicone bracelet made for any cause or just for fun us kids ensured to have them stacked on our wrists.

13. iChat.

A time of the past and something all of us lived on. Before Facetime was a thing, iChat was one of the only to communicate visually. This trend allowed us to say when we were on or offline, write to our fellow friends, make updates and video up to 3 people at the same time!

14. Juicy Couture sweat outfits.

If you wore a juicy couture sweat outfit you seriously knew what was up. Wearing this designer two-piece was a fashion statement for all.

15. Blockbuster.

Before Netflix was a thing...picking out a movie to watch was like going to the bookstore and finding a book you wanted to read. Blockbuster after school dates was something all kids loved to do as there activity of the day.

16. Etch A Sketch.

Every household almost always had an Etch A Sketch present. This drawing toy was nothing but fun.

17. Lite Brite.

An arts and craft project that made every child think creatively and bright.

18. MTV: "My Super Sweet 16."

There are many television shows that had every child hooked. "My Super Sweet 16" was a show that made us kids think big for our upcoming sweet 16 in a few years.

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
