Fall and winter are my favorite seasons to dress for. The layers, the colors, and the makeup trends make them worth the struggle of the cold. Speaking of the cold, that among many other reasons including the dreary weather and the gray color of everything, also makes winter my least favorite season. I always look forward to spring and summer for the heat, but these seasons require the most preparation for me. For some reason, it takes a lot more for me to find cute outfits in the spring and summer, rather than the fall and the winter. I think the hardest thing about dressing for spring is that it is really more of a transition season. Especially where I am from, you could have warm weather on Monday, rain on Tuesday, seventy degree weather Wednesday and Thursday, and freezing temperatures the rest of the week. Completely unpredictable.
So for those of you who feel the same way, here are your Spring 2017 trends to help with your preparation.
Colors:
Greenery-
Named by Pantone as the Color of the Year for 2017, Greenery is sure to be a power color in many fashion palettes this spring.
Flame-
Coming from Pantone's list of Top 10 Colors for Spring 2017, Flame will add a gorgeous pop of color to any outfit.
Island Paradise-
Although accompanied by two other hues of blue on the Top 10 list, Island Paradise is my favorite. This gentle, cool-toned blue is the perfect color for a spring day and can be paired with other colors easily making it perfect for your spring wardrobe.
Primrose Yellow-
I have always been a sucker for a good yellow. Although only one shade made it onto the Top 10 list, there are many options to fit anyone's style this spring. Yellow is a very happy color, and with all the hues available in trends this season, it will be easy to find a shade that looks right on you. Having this color in your closet this summer is a sure way to add some extra dimension to any outfit in need of a bright pop of color.

Fashion:
Graphic Tee's-
Taking over runway's, graphic tee's are a heavy part of Spring and Summer trends. A casual piece that can be kept casual or dressed up. Pair your graphic tee with a skirt, wide-legged trousers, or even the perfect pair of jeans to keep up with the trend of the shirt. Add a statement necklace or earrings and spruce up the outfit with an accent purse or your favorite pair of shoes. The idea behind this trend is cute comfort, easily worn on a warm day and easily layered for those chilly spring afternoons.

One Shoulder Tops-
A major trend for the summer of 2016 were off the shoulder tops, and for those of you wanting to continue this trend one shoulder tops were a hit on the runway for Spring 2017. A slightly warmer alternative to the previous trend, one shoulder tops and dresses should be added to your wardrobe. Style the same as above or pair with a chic leather skirt for a night out. These tops have enough going on at the neckline so add your accent pieces by wearing a great pair of statement earrings.

Strong Stripes-
Stripes have dominated many trends for the past few years, only this season go for the strong and prominent. Jumpsuits, Trouser Pants, Dresses, and Tops can all be pieces added to your wardrobe to keep up with this trend. Go for a chunky-few rather than narrow-many for your pieces. Keep outfits monochromatic for accessories and stripe colors, go for the usual black and white to add a pop of color with your accessories, or in true spring fashion, rock navy blue and white for some trendy sailor stripes.
