Halloween season is probably one of the most stressful times of the year, especially if you're a college student. Trying to find the perfect balance between cute, funny and unique is a tough task and for those who got it right this year -- congrats. Here are six of the trendiest Halloween costumes of 2015.

1. Netflix and Chill

If you took the most popular saying of this year and made it into a costume: special shout out to you for being hella creative with a great sense of humor. But maybe I'm biased considering my roommate and I had this idea, which others were definitely a fan of. The best part about this costume, though, is that you can take it in so many different directions, which helps if you aren't the only one sporting this around on Halloween night.

2. Dancers from the "Sorry" music video by Justin Bieber

For those who got their stuff together like a week ago and pulled this group costume together, good work because it seriously pays off. Justin Bieber's new hit is a fan favorite, and his music video provides great inspiration for a large group of girls in need of a creative costume. If you got this costume right and really stuck to the style of the girls in the video, kudos to you 'cause it's a home run of a costume, just like Justin's song.

3. Tom Brady, his deflated football, and broken cell phone

I'm sorry to all the Patriots fans out there, but you have to admit, this costume deserves a few laughs and an A+ for creativity.

4. Donald Trump

Next to Tom Brady for being the most talked about public figure this year is Donald Trump. His classic blue suit and "Make America Great Again" hat is the perfect costume. But it doesn't just stop there. If you went all out with the wig and Crest White Strips, you'll be sure to trump all the other costumes this year. Pun intended.

5. Bruce Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner

Now some people might not agree with this costume idea, but if you're going to be a public figure and live in the spotlight, it's kind of expected that you'll get your own Halloween costume out of it.

6. Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" Team

Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" music video was one of the best things to happen to us in a while. It doesn't get much better than seeing all our girl crushes dressed in black leather being badasses with Taylor Swift's hit song playing in the background. If you're hitting the town with all your girlfriends and are trying to look fly, this costume is seriously a winner. Throw together any tight, black leather clothing items you have, and some 5-inch heels and you are good to go.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
