Hello and welcome to my current skincare routine! These are the different products I've been varying and each day/night I use any combination of them to achieve the skin I want. My skin type is a combination of oily, so from all that I've tested, it's what works best for me and what I would recommend to someone of a similar skin type.

FACE WIPES

I've been trying to expand my horizons from affordable, but not the staple Neutrogena in the face wipe realm. These are what I've found as a result. They all leave your face feeling clean, without the unnecessary oily residue.

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Original Cleansing Wipes

Garnier SkinActive Clean + Purifying Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes

Rose Water Cleansing Wipes

FACE WASH

Depending on how much makeup I have on, I will use one of these to cleanse my face. If I am wearing little to no makeup, I'll use the Micellar Water to take off any excess gunk. If I have on makeup or feel the need to clean my face more than usual, I'll use the Cleansing Complex, which is great for oily/acne prone skin.

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Makeup Remover & Cleanser

iS Clinical Cleansing Complex

TONER

This stuff is my saving grace. The toner/astringent is what makes my skin feel really clean and balances any oils that could be left on my face.

Face & Body Witch Hazel Astringent

Sea Breeze Sensitive Skin Astringent

SERUM

Despite what you may think, using a serum, even when having oily skin will not make you very oily. In fact, overproduction of natural oil could be a result of dehydration. These both make my skin feel very nourished and glowy and last all day.

La Mer The Renewal Oil

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum

MOISTURIZER

If you don't use anything else on your face, at least moisturize- multiple times a day. Depending on how my skin acts, I'll use one of these three. The aloe is very hydrating, as it is a gel consistency, and gives my skin a satin finish. The Embryolisse is thick and luxurious, yet light and feminine. The Glam Glow is nice for when I want to have a no makeup day, but not look like I haven't slept in 48 hours. It smells so good and gives me an obvious glow, seen by the name and the color.

Aloe Vera Gel

Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré

Glam Glow GLOWSTARTER Mega Illuminating Moisturizer

EYE CREAM

I gravitate between these two and still can't seem to choose a favorite. They both have a salmon color, to allude from the fact that you have dark black holes behind them and last for hours.

Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream

First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy: Brighten, Depuff and Smooth

LIP MOISTURIZER

Not that this is something that actually exists, but it's the term I'm going to use. My lips aren't naturally dry or cracked, but I still hate going to bed with that lack of moisture feeling. After I'm done with the rest of my skin, I'll put one of these bad boys on and wake up with soft, moisturized lips.

Vitamin E Stick

Dior Addict Lip Glow

Smith's Rosebud Salve Tube

The reason I always keep a variety of skin care to choose from is because it's important not to get stuck in too much of a routine with your products. Your skin may have different needs depending on how it acts day to day and if it gets used to certain products, it will become just as bored as you. Switching up your routine and trying new staples is part of the fun, which you will notice as your collection starts to grow. Hopefully, these babies work as well for you as they have me.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
