Every year the holiday season rolls around and college students everywhere flock home to be with their families. The time leading up to the trip home can be quite hectic getting through security and through the masses of people that all seem to be traveling to the same place you are. But through all the hectic travel, Buddy The Elf here has summed up a few things about traveling that are all too true.

1. Saying bye to your friends before you leave. "Bye Buddy, hope you find your dad."

2. Forgetting to go to the bathroom before getting on the plane, so you have to use that tiny bathroom that's even too small for children.

3. When you don't know how to get your bag on the escalator, so you just have an awkward three steps in between you and your bag.

4. When TSA tells you they need you to step to the side because you have something suspicious on you.

5. When you can't afford the pricey airport food. Desperate times require desperate measures...

6. Daydreaming about all of the wonderful home-cooked meals you are going to have while home.

7. Telling your siblings and friends all that you're going to do once you get home!

8. Realizing halfway into your flight or drive you forgot something...

9. Small talk is key on flights home, especially when you're someone who forgot their headphones and needs to fill the awkward silence.

10. And finally, you make it home and all you want your family to know is that you love them.

Holiday breaks are wonderful and I hope this has made it an even brighter holiday for you!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
