A Traveling Cowboy's Prayer

For the long time rodeo friend of mine.

A Traveling Cowboy's Prayer
C. Fields

Lord forgive him for his rough and rowdy ways.

Lord he knows not what he's done today.

Forgive him for not finding Your love sooner and all he did.

Lord please shed that devil from his shoulder and love him rid.

Lord I ask You to forgive him for this life we've all come to live on the road.

We have learned we need You today and forever to pull these heavy loads.

We've all gone astray more times than we should.

I know there was a lot of times he's started to walk away but never could.

Lord forgive him for all the wicked women he's loved one night at a time.

I know they didn't have his heart but I promise you he had mine.

I ask You to forgive those worn out boots for walking him down the wrong paths.

And Lord, he will always find his way home as You look down with Your wrath.

We love you today and for always Lord as You call us up to Your living arms one year.

And I know there is but one thing in this life we should all fear.

All men bleed the same and we are all created equal.

Some of us forget that sometimes Lord and make parts of this world a little evil.

But Lord we say this prayer and all others in Your heavenly and precious name.

And we give all the glory to You oh God and we worship in all Your fame.

Thank you for today and always Lord as we ask You to watch over the ones we love.

And forgiving us Lord, and for that I really can't thank You enough.

I appreciate You for taking his soul and mine alike and for our old hearts that you came in.

And Lord as always we say this prayer in Your precious name, Amen.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
