The best investment in life is traveling.

Traveling The World Will Change Your Life

I know that I am not the only one who dreams of traveling the world! I could say that I have been dreaming of traveling since I was a little girl. I want to see new places, eat new cuisine, learn about new cultures, and meet new people. It is amazing to know that this world is so big with so many different kinds of people out there. I know I will travel the world sometime in the future, or I might end up deciding to take a trip next month! Sometimes I wonder if I will travel alone, or with my future love (which would be amazing).

Sharing new experiences with someone you love would be an awesome experience, but doing some travel alone wouldn’t be bad either. It would be the perfect time to think and reconnect with yourself.

Every place in this world has a story, every city holds a myth, every culture has their art work.
I want to walk where Jesus walked (Jerusalem), I want to see the pyramids (Egypt), I want to go kiss someone special in “El Callejon Del Beso” (Guanajuato, Mexico) or go see Aurora Borealis(Alaska, U.S.). I just want to get to know every place. I want to know the stories within its buildings and people

I have been blessed to travel around some places within the U.S. and Mexico. My first plane ride was when I was two years old. I went to Mexico City from Omaha, Nebraska. You can say my family kinda started my dream of traveling. I remember getting on planes every summer and just thinking, I could go anywhere in the world, and to this day I hop on a plane and still have the same thought. Recently, I have been able to afford to travel on my own, and I have learned that the best investment anyone could make is travel time.

I could honestly waste $400 on a brand new hot pink Michael Kors bag (and the excitement of having that bag would be gone within a month) OR I could spend $400 or more on a travel experience and those memories and excitement would last a lifetime. I can for sure guarantee you that my future investments will go into traveling. The best advice I could give you is to travel now that you can, and if you know you have the money. Enjoy life, live to the fullest; make memories that will for sure make you smile every time you look back.

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.

Sometimes my brain just starts turning on an idea and it doesn't want to stop.

I don't know if it is related to my anxiety, perfectionism or depression. I don't know why it happens. It's frustrating, it's painful and it stops me from functioning.
