Like many of you, Covid-19 has spoiled all my travel plans in 2020 and 2021. Now, I am planning to travel again.

Here are 5 places on top of my list.

Siem Reap, Cambodia

As a photography lover, Angor Wat is at the top of my list.

The famous Angkor Wat temples can be reached via Siem Reap. Both tourists and photographers enjoy visiting the temples, which are regarded as one of Southeast Asia's most significant archaeological sites.

Other cool photo spots are the nearby floating villages, the neighborhood markets, and the picturesque countryside.

Yangon, Myanmar

I have to admit I am not so comfortable with the idea of traveling to Myanmar.

But Yangon, Myanmar's largest city, is rich in culture and history. The city is home to the historic Shwedagon Pagoda, which is one of the country's most recognizable attractions.

Other famous shooting locations include downtown Yangon's colonial architecture, bustling local marketplaces, and the surrounding Inle Lake.

Hoi An, Vietnam

When I first planned to visit Hanoi, some of my friends asked me, "why would you go to Vietnam?" But they had no clue how stunning is the Halong bay.

I would love to revisit Vietnam, but this time to another city.

Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is famous for its well-preserved historic village. The city is well-known for its vibrant lanterns, traditional wooden buildings, and stunning beaches.

The Japanese Bridge, Hoi An Ancient Town, and the neighboring My Son Sanctuary are also popular photography locations.

Penang, Malaysia

A couple of my friends were living in Penang, and they always invited me to visit there. Unfortunately, Covid-19 messed with all my travel plans.

Penang is an island state in Malaysia. It is well-known for its beautiful beaches, delicious street food, temples, mosques, and rich cultural heritage.

The city is home to the popular George Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Other popular photography spots in Penang include the Kek Lok Si Temple, Penang Hill and the Fort Cornwallis, to name a few.

Luang Prabang, Laos

I live in Thailand now, and Laos is a neighboring country. Luang Prabang in Laos is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known for its well-preserved traditional architecture and cultural heritage. When I need a vacation away from the bustle of Bangkok city, I might go to Luang Prabang.

The city is famous for its beautiful temples, such as Wat Xieng Thong and Wat Mai, as well as the local markets. Other popular photography locations include the nearby Kuang Si Waterfall, the Phousi Hill and the Pak Ou Caves.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
