Everyone at least once in their lives fantasizes about going to somewhere new and having a great adventure like the models in all the travel magazines. College students especially do this when we have been stuck in our dorms studying our brains out. It isn't hard or unjust to bet that I myself haven't caught myself surrounded by mountains of homework and daydreaming of hiking the Andes Mountains. With this in mind I came up with a list of ten places that I would love to go if I had the means and opportunity to go.

1. Alaska

- When people think Alaska they may imagine an artic wasteland but it is so much more than that it is a grizzly bear looking out on the horizon, a whale crashing through the surface, artic rivers flowing through forests, all while the Northern lights seem to dance over head. Who wouldn't want to go here?

2. Australia

- Australia is most known for its outback bursting with kangaroos and koalas. but it is also full of botanical gardens and parks. It has beautiful beaches that are home to the Great Barrier Reef and its capital Sydney is well known for its Opera House and aquarium. It also was the birthplace of the late Steve Irwin or as he was commonly known the Crocodile Hunter.

3. Costa Rica

- Lush rainforests, tropical beaches, waterfalls, and seven active volcanoes- what more could you ask for in a tropical paradise? Costa Rica has all of this and is home to some cool animals such as sloths and the migrant home of many species of humming birds. Its name literally says it all. Costa Rica truly is a rich coast that is full of life!

4.England

- Besides their accents England has so much to see and do. From the double decker buses, the London Eye, Big Ben, and not to mention Buckingham Palace. you can look at the mysterious Stonehenge or eat your fish and chips while looking out over the river Thames. Maybe if you're lucky you could witness the change of the guard!

5. Galapagos Islands

- Home to the blue footed booby and made famous by Charles Darwin the Galapagos Islands are really a site to behold not just for budding biologists but for anyone who loves nature. You can watch the Blue Footed Boobies and Frigate birds display for their mates, watch the Galapagos tortoise in its natural habitat, and listen to the waves crash on the rocks while sea lions bask in the sun.

6. Germany

- A place of history, culture, and angry shouting Germany is a great place to go for one who loves history. You can go to the many museums and famous restaurants. You can go to Marienplatz, the Holocaust Memorial, and hike the mountains of Zugspitze. If you are looking for fun you can go to the famous Oktoberfest or Hamburger Dom.

You can visit the Cliffs of Moher, Sky Road, and the many museums that are dedicated to a variety of things. there are museums for Whiskey, history, and many others. you can watch the Gaelic Games or look on as eagles soar at Eagles Flying. You can find many castles and farms when you look around Ireland.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
