As season 13 of Grey's Anatomy started this past week I wanted to reflect upon the sadness director Shondra Rhimes has brought us. If you have ever watched or heard of Grey's then you will know they lose a lot of important cast members. Whether this was by death or from them moving away, it never gets easier. Below are the top 10 people that have left Grey's Anatomy that I will forever miss.

1. George O'Malley's death

Before George died he was on his way to tell his Mom he had joined the army to become a trauma surgeon. Instead, he was hit by a bus helping a woman out of the road. The hospital didn't know it was George until he wrote 007 on Meredith's hand, confirming that was him. The hospital had doubts Meredith was correct it was George so that had his ex-wife Callie Torres check him. She said if he has a birth mark that looks like Texas on his right hand it's George. Sadly John Doe was George O'Malley.

2. Lexie Grey's death

Lexie Grey was on her way onto the plane for a hospital to help a patient. Instead when the plane crashed the debris of the plane was crushing the bottom half of her body. Knowing she only had moments left she told Mark to tell Meredith she was a good sister and she loved her. Mark tried to comfort her in her last few minutes alive.

3. Mark Sloan's death

Mark had just gone through the tragedy of losing the love of his life Lexie Grey. He was able to survive the plane crash that killed her and was brought back to Seattle Grace Mercy West. His conditions were good he was expected to make a full recovery. That was until he was put onto life support and ultimately pulled his own plug.

4. Derrick Shepherd's death

Moments before Derrick had died he saved a mom, her little daughter and two teenagers who had just gotten into a car accident. After they were saved he went back into his car, looked at his phone and was hit by a tractor trailer. He was rushed to a hospital who forgot to order a head ct which ended up resulting in him becoming brain dead. Meredith decided to pull him off of life support as there was no way he could be the same Derrick again.

5. Adele Webber's death

Adele suffered from Alzheimer's and couldn't remember her husband Dr. Webber well towards the end of her life. She was coughing blood up and was admitted for a heart condition. She had to have surgery on her heart, during surgery Dr. Bailey didn't know what to do. Dr. Bailey pulled a Hail Mary stunt that made Adele live after surgery. Shortly after though, Adele suffered a heart attack and died from it.

6. Samuel Avery's death

Samuel Jackson was the son of April and Jackson Avery. During an ultrasound Jackson's ex girlfriend Stephanie Edwards noticed something different about the fetus. She didn't tell April but when and told Jackson about the information she discovered. It turned out baby Samuel had osteogenesis imperfecta which is a rare disease that causes babies to have fragile bones. Samuel only lived for a few minutes after he was born and baptized.

7. Henry Burton's death

Henry was a patient of Teddy, he was unable to have insurance to pay for the surgery he desperately needed. Henry at first was reluctant to marry Teddy but soon enough he agreed and they wedded. He had the surgery done, after recovery Henry went out running and had fell. Again he had surgery and he was okay. Until, he went in for surgery for a tumor near his heart, there was complications during surgery. He had bled out and had to much damage for him to be saved. Teddy was in the middle of a surgery when her husband had passed away. The surgical team waited until after she had finished surgery to tell her which was many hours after he had died.

8. Denny Duquette Jr.'s Death

Denny was had a severe heart condition which caused him to live at the hopsital for the last part of his life. While treating him, Izzie Stevens soon fell in love with Denny. The night of Denny's death Izzie was getting ready for a prom the hospital was having. She was just a few minutes short of seeing Denny and possibly saving him from the heart attack he underwent. Later in season 5 he shows up to console her through flashbacks and as a spirit.

9. Izzie leaving/cancer

Izzie Stevens fought against cancer, died and came back to life. She had to deal with the harsh reality of loosing the love of her life Denny and her best friend George. Both of these deaths affected her greatly. She was fired at Seattle Grace Mercy West because of budget cuts and the merger with Mercy West Hospital. Ultimately, she ran away from her husband Alex Karev and started a new life.

10. Cristina moving away

Cristina Yang decided to take over her former fiance Burke's position at a hospital. It was a big adjustment for her and Meredith. For the sake of furthering her career as a cardio surgeon this was the best thing for her. Even if this meant leaving her person behind. I'm hoping the rumors about her returning are true!

Grey's Anatomy is one of the best TV shows on air. If you are interested in medical drama then be sure to tune in every Thursday on ABC at 8/7c to watch! You will need some ice cream to eat your heart out and some tissues for the tears. Last week's episode was hard watching Alex Karev get arrested. Hopefully we won't lose any more original cast members any time soon.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
