Trader Joe's Is My New Obsession — Here's Why

Usually for groceries, my roommates and I would go to Walmart, Wegmans, and many other places, but since we've discovered Trader Joe's, this is our go-to spot! We love everything about the store and here are some reasons why!

The first thing that is great about this grocery store is the prices! You can get good quality food and produce for a price that fits your college budget. Just to give you an idea, a green bell pepper at Trader Joe's is .79 cents, at McLanahan's it is 2.99!

In addition to their cheap prices, Trader Joe's produces their own line of many different types of foods and it is awesome! Their signature item is a seasoning called "Everything But The Bagel", and it is perfect to put on top of anything! In addition to this seasoning, they have Everything But The Bagel dips, variety of nuts and other seasonings that are mind-blowing!

Personally, I feel that the atmosphere in Trader Joe's is so different compared to other grocery stores. When you walk in you get to see and smell the variety of fresh flowers along the wall that make you actually excited to grocery shop. The workers are always happy, help you with whatever you need and bag all of your items for you at the checkout! Another addition that the store does to make it unique is that they named each checkout lane after a street in State College! I love this feature and think it is adorable especially in a town filled with PSU pride!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
