Trader Joe's supermarket is quite a unique place to shop. In one aisle you can find delicious products like everything bagel seasoning, in another aisle, you can find a 12 pack of macarons (which I highly recommend, BTW) and in another...oh, well that's the unexpected gold mine.

I bet you didn't think you could find grade-A beauty products from Trader Joe's, huh?

1. Rose Water Facial Toner

This spray is amazing because it's a cheaper version of what you see on the shelves in Sephora, but works so well! A spritz or two gives you an aromatic and refreshing feeling that makes the toning process of your skin care routine so much easier to get done. I often forget applying toner is part of my skincare routine and when I remember the fact that I use this spray, I feel so accomplished.

2. Rose Oil

Oh, and you thought the roses stopped there? This oil is amazing for being applied to your skin on its own or using two pumps applied to your daily moisturizer for an added, and more appropriate for the daytime, effect. It's super moisturizing and is luxurious, but an affordable staple.

3. Blueberry and Acai Facial Scrub

An effective facial scrub that smells like a smoothie?

Um.

Enough said.

4. Vitamin E, Argan and Jojoba Oils

Oil is one of the best things for your skin. Even if you have an oily complexion, applying oil to your face before you go to bed is one of the best things you could do for yourself after cleansing because of the vitamins and moisturizing characteristics oils provide. Trader Joe's sells pure Vitamin E and Jojoba oils that aren't made with any nasty ingredients. Apply these to your lips, legs, and anywhere else that you want to be soft and supple a few hours later. The argan oil is 100% organic and made without any unnecessary additives so it is a great alternative for your hair products that take pride in their, like, 1% use of actual argan oil.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
