After time spent indulging in food and putting off thinking about daily semester stressors, it can be difficult to regain your work ethic in the university setting again. During the fall semester, a break so late in the semester leaves you with little time to make moves very far beyond where you were before the break started up. When arriving back to classes the first Monday and Tuesday after this weekend, coming in with the mindset of revising what you know and what you are working on and beginning to review it is essential. Visiting professors during office hours this week will gain you points in your final exams as it will help you to focus on the most important aspects of class before it is too late. Working out issues you are having now, will save you from sending a distressed email on the study day, or even giving up on certain aspects of the coursework. The sooner you brain starts working on older material as well as still taking in newer material, the better success you will have on your exams and papers.

This is not the time period that you should fall down on eating habits and lose sleep. This is the time to fuel your body with the nutrients and rest that it needs to act and create within the final days of courses and the exams that follow suit. Instead, creating a schedule of your own to look back on work on the side of current assignments and lectures will be essential. Working bit by bit on these factors of the end of the semester will keep you from the big binge of studying and cramming within the one and only study day and last week of exams.

Enjoy your last days of the semester as one by one they will continue to move on by and the time you have with your friends and as an undergrad will rapidly pass through. Breaking up the moments of stress and cramming will keep your mind functioning and capable of functioning more than you ever knew it could. The end of the semester isn’t the end of the world. Your health and livelihood are still more important than anything else, but there are ways to ease the stressors and tensions of impending deadlines and daunting tests.

I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
