In November of 1995, though we didn't know it yet, all our lives were changed for the better; "Toy Story," the iconic Pixar-animated film, was released in theaters. The film that taught us lessons about being a friend, caring for others and growing up is turning 20 years old this year. We've spent all these years quoting classic lines, singing catchy songs and waiting for sequels, and here we are two movies later, deeply affected by what this series has taught us.
Toy Story is great because each character brings something new to the table that helped us through our childhoods. In honor of this anniversary, we decided to show how "Toy Story" is still completely relevant to our lives, even as college students.
When you first move into your dorm and want to make as many friends as possible:
When your roommate leaves a mess in the bathroom again:
When you realize the dorm walls are extremely thin:
You sit in your first class after summer break like:
And when you get that first exam back:
You find yourself becoming extremely lazy:
You see everyone getting gains and try to whip yourself into shape:
Walking out of a test you know you nailed:
And when winter break comes around and you finally get to go home to mom's cooking:
No matter how old we get, we'll always be able to relate to "Toy Story," and every time we watch it we can learn something new. Twenty years may have seemed to fly by, but not to worry, "Toy Story 4" is set to release in 2017 and we'll be able to catch the feels all over again.
