When The Going Gets Tough, So Does My Family

My family means the world to me, and I could not be more thankful for them.

When The Going Gets Tough, So Does My Family
Brandie Anderson

When things get tough and you think that they aren't going your way, look at your family and know that they are always in your corner. Your family members are the ones cheering you on from the sidelines and the audience. In everything that you do they are there supporting you. They never ask why or how, they just support you through everything and anything.

My family means the world to me and without them, I wouldn't be the person that I am today. I have a great family that I wouldn't change for the world. They support me through the good and the bad. When we are going through a rough time, we stick together, fix the problem and we don't look back for anything. Problems do not define my family or our lives, but I know that if they would, they would still be in my corner. My family has always been there for me through everything from my first break up, first homecoming, first prom, last homecoming, college decisions, life decisions, my crazy unachievable goals, death, school, when I decided to try cross country, going to all my plays and speech meets etc.

My family has been there together. We have fought cancer as a family and have almost beat it as a family. My family is a lot stronger than some families I know, and I am so thankful for that. Family, to me, is the people you surround yourself with every day. They do not have to be blood to be family, though I have been so blessed to have a family as great as my own. Right now we are dealing with a crisis that is all our own. My family means so much to me, and I would not change anything about them. I love you guys so much. "Ohana means family, family means nobody left behind."

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
