Top Wisconsin Music Festivals To Check Out This Summer
Nelaceltic Fest

Wisconsin summers have plenty to offer its inhabitants and visitors, including plenty of beaches, fairs, and outdoor sports venues. What you'll also find in Wisconsin throughout the summer are plenty of opportunities for live music that can cater to anyone's musical taste. From north to south and east to test, it's pretty easy for people to find live music to venture out to for a good time. Check out the list of music festivals to head out to this summer in Wisconsin.

Northern Invasion

What: Northern Invasion is an outdoor music festival that includes heavy metal and rock music. The festival offers plenty of food, drinks, accommodations for camping ,and much more.

Where: Somerset

When: May 14–15

Headliners: Disturbed, Rob Zombie, Korn, Shinedown, Seether

Blue Ox Music Festival

What: Blue Ox Music Festival is an outdoor music festival that includes bluegrass, roots, and Americana music. A great aspect of this festival is that all campground passes are included in ticket prices so you don't have to worry about paying extra for accommodations.

Where: Eau Claire

When: June 9–11

Headliners: Railroad Earth, Bela Fleck & The Flecktones, Greensky Bluegrass, The Wood Brothers, Sam Bush

Country USA

What: Country USA is an outdoor music festival featuring many different country artists. There are plenty of campsites and merchandise on the grounds to explore.

Where: Oshkosh

When: June 14–18

Headliners: Dierks Bentley, Thomas Rhett, Dan & Shay, Little Big Town, Frankie Ballard, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Chase Rice

Country Fest

What: Country Fest is an outdoor music festival also featuring country artists.

Where: Cadott

When: June 16–19

Headliners: Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Sam Hunt, Dierks Bentley, Randy Houser, Frankie Ballard, Maddie & Tae, Jana Kramer

Summerfest

What: Summerfest is known as the world's largest music festival that spans over a week and a half and includes a wide array of different artists and performers.

Where: Milwaukee

When: June 29–July 3 and July 5–10

Headliners: To be announced

Hodag Country Music Festival

What: Hodag is an outdoor country music festival featuring several different country artists that offers tons of campsites for concert-goers.

Where: Rhinelander

When: July 7–10

Headliners: Neal McCoy, Thomas Rhett, Mickey Gilley, Jake Owen, Montgomery Gentry, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

Rock Fest

What: Rock Fest is an outdoor music festival featuring several different rock bands and artists.

Where: Cadott

When: July 14–16

Headliners: Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch, Alice in Chains, Marilyn Manson, Breaking Benjamin, Rise Against, Hollywood Undead

Rock USA

What: Rock USA, much like Rock Fest, is also an outdoor music festival featuring several different rock bands and artists. The date is set for the same time as Rock Fest, so whichever location you are closest to or whichever bands you are most excited to see should sway you from one festival to the other.

When: July 14–16

Headliners: Slipknot, Disturbed, Alice in Chains, Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown

Country Jam

What: Country Jam is an outdoor country music festival with plenty of accommodations including campsites and nearby hotels.

Where: Eau Claire

When: July 21–23

Headliners: Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, The Band Perry, Jake Owen, Thomas Rhett

Mile of Music

What: Mile of Music is an outdoor handcrafted artisan music festival with many different artists and performers to see.

Where: Appleton

When: August 4–7

Headliners: To be announced

Blues on the Chippewa

What: Blues on the Chippewa is an outdoor music festival dedicated to showcasing several different artists with very different styles of music. The festival provides supplemental funding for the Pepin County Food Pantry and the Brent Titus Music for Children Program.

Where: Durand

When: August 5–7

Headliners: Eric Gales, Charles Walker Band, Shaun Murphy, Rachelle Coba, Lamont Cranston

Eaux Claires

What: Eaux Claires is an outdoor music festival with plenty of different food vendors, beverages, and campsites. Their mission is "to create a deeply meaningful experience of togetherness and expression."

Where: Eau Claire

When: August 12–13

Headliners: Bon Iver, My Brightest Diamond, Francis and the Lights, Little Scream, Vince Staples

Summer Set

What: Summerset, much like Northern Invasion, is located in Somerset and has plenty of food vendors, beverages, and campsites to take advantage of. Past artists have been Deadmau5, The Weeknd, and G-Eazy.

When: August 12–14

Headliners: To be announced

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.
