Here are a few tips for this stressful time of the year.
1.Do not wait until the last possible minute
Plan ahead. Make sure you give yourself enough time to review teachers and course attributes
2. Do not have just one plan
If you only have one plan you probably won't be fortunate to get every class on the list. Have alternates!
3. A better teacher is worth a bad time
Sometimes the best teachers have the worst class time. The better teacher is worth having the 8:30am class trust me. If you have a good teacher it'll make the time more interesting.
4. Do not plan your entire schedule around friends
We all want to take classes with friends, but that may not be the best thing for you long term. Look into maybe having one class with a friend. This way you still enjoy classes with them, but do not fall behind in what you need to graduate
5. GRADUATION is the goal
That is the goal at the end of college so just focus on what will get you closer to graduation. Focus on the classes that fulfill those core requirements and help make your last semesters easier.
There are so many individuals who can help you make a better schedule to get you closer to graduation. Just do what is best for you. Do not focus on classes with friends or that cute guy. Keep your eyes on the goal to walk across that stage at graduation.
