As the lazy days of summer approach, there's no doubt that most of us (myself included) will waste away much of the sunny weather sitting in our beds, watching Netflix. What's better to watch than a throwback movie? So, to aid in our summer adventures, here's the top five best throwback movies on Netflix.

1. "Bring it on"

You know you gasped when the spirit stick touched the floor. This high-spirited, dance-filled cheer drama embodies the phrase "oldie but goodie".

2. "Legally Blonde"

Though this star-studded movie has also been made into numerous sequels and a musical, nothing can touch the original. If Reese Witherspoon isn't enough to make you want to watch, the adorable chihuahua (R.I.P. Moonie) sure will be.

3. "Sixteen Candles"

This is one of the classics. If you haven't seen this, crawl out of the rock you've been living under and watch it. If you have, then you know it's good enough to watch again.

4. "Grease"

You don't have to be a musical lover to love this musical. Don't let anyone fool you, the original is way better than the remakes.

5. "Clueless"

I only have two words: totally buggin'.
