As the warm weather disappears and brings in colder and icier weather, people await the arrival of pumpkin spice lattes and going to Haunted Houses. Each year, people get excited for all the things to do during the fall season, starting off with the Halloween festivities and ending with Thanksgiving. Atlanta is one of the hubs of recreational activities, bringing in more and more people to the events annually. Although it’s a city life, there are countless numbers of activities to participate near the Halloween season. If you’re like me and school and work has been taking over, it gave me just enough time to realize that I only have a week to do most of these things.

1. Little 5 Points Halloween Festival & Parade

Little 5 Points is a place that most of the ATLiens are particularly familiar with. They have a parade and festival each year, getting people together to celebrate the festivities of Halloween. There are live performances, pumpkin carving and people are dressed up in variety of costumes and it's also free!

2. Taste of Atlanta

If there are any food lovers, this one is for you! Taste of Atlanta is an annual event which happens around October, introducing the best types of foods and creations that will definitely be worth it. In merely 3 days, around 90 local favorites will create their best dishes and present it to the crowd. Beer/wine tasting along with interactive cooking demos will be available as well.

3. Six Flags Fright Fest

Another crowd favorites would be the SixFlags Fright Fest. Who said Six Flags only had to be during the warm seasons? The theme park is decorated to fit the Halloween season and there are customized haunted houses, scare zones and spooky rides. There's nothing better than scary-themed rides that will be thrilling enough to make you come back.

4. Capturing the Spirits of Oakland Cemetery

The Oakland Cemetery is known for it's stories and history, making it one of the best historic sites to visit in Atlanta. They have a Halloween tour each year, guiding through the beautiful Victorian-lit gardens, presenting the different stories of the historical events that have taken place in the area. If you're looking to leave with a sense of mystery, this would be a great event to sign up for.

5. Netherworld Haunted House

Last but not least, Netherworld is a must when it gets closer to Halloween. It is said to be one of the biggest and the best haunted houses in America. The scare tactics and special effects are incorporated to make you jump. This self guided, walk through haunted house will surely give you a chill.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
