Buffalo, N.Y. is nationally recognized as having some of the best places to eat. Here are 10.
1. Asher's Juice Bar and Cafe.
Located in Elmwood, Ashker's is a trendy place to get pressed juice and an organic meal. From panini's, to eggs, to smoothies, Ashker's is guaranteed to provide you with happiness and a full stomach.
2. Duffs.
If Buffalo is famous for one thing, it's their Buffalo wings. The only place to get them is at Duffs (even President Obama has eaten here!), where "medium is hot, medium hot is very hot, and hot is very, very hot." Eat at your own risk.
3. SPoT Coffee.
When it comes to coffee, there is no better place in Buffalo to go to than SPoT. With painted murals on the walls, and a welcoming atmosphere, SPoT is the perfect place to socialize with friends, or if needed, to do school work.
4. Tea Leaf Cafe.
Oh, how I love Tea Leaf. With a variety of fruit options and tapioca balls, bubble tea at Tea Leaf cafe is always delicious. No matter what fruit combination you try, no matter if you get a smoothie or tea, Tea Leaf never disappoints.
5. Mighty Taco.
Don't even think about comparing it to Taco Bell! Mighty Taco is the ultimate fast food taco chain, located exclusively in Buffalo, New York. It's also the first thing I want to eat when I come home from college. Have it with some Loganberry, and next thing you know, you're a true Buffalonian.
6. ETS.
Elmwood Taco and Sub is by far one of my favorite places to eat. Not only do they live up to their name by providing scrumptious tacos and subs, they also have the best waffle fries around. I'm hungry thinking about it.
7. Break 'N Eggs.
Hands down, the best crepes and omelets you could ever desire. The cute and cozy restaurant has fresh flowers on every table and pictures of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triumph on the walls. If the ambiance isn't to die for, than the food is.
8. Dessert Deli.
If you want themed cupcakes or state of the art cakes, dessert deli is the place for you. Not a cake person? It's not called Dessert Deli for nothing! Dessert Deli has the most versatile selection of sweets in Buffalo, all for an affordable cost.
9. Bocce Club Pizza.
I might be a little biased thinking that Bocce's is the best pizza in Buffalo, but that's only because my parents met there in their teens. Bocce is a family run pizza joint, not only with the greatest pizza around, but also subs that can satisfy any hunger craving.
10. Anderson's Frozen Custard.
If you want a burger for dinner and ice cream for dessert, Anderson's is the place for you. Their burgers are tasty, but nothing tops their homemade soft serve ice cream. Cool and smooth, I have yet to taste better soft serve than Anderson's.
