If you are anything like me, you LOVE the Gilmore Girls and are extremely pumped for the shows four episode return to Neflix scheduled to air on Black Friday!! So in honor of the shows return, I thought I would put together my ten favorite Lorelai and Rory moments! The list counts down from ten (being my least favorite in the list but still awesome and memorable) to one (my all time favorite Gilmore Girls moment). So sit back, grab a cup of coffee, like any good Gilmore Girl would do, and enjoy!

10. When things got real and Lorelai straight up told Rory she would save cake first in a fire because cake doesn't have legs.

9. When Dean and Jess got in a fight over Rory at a party and Lorelai was so proud, she serenaded her with Bette Midler's "Wind Beneath My Wings."

8. When Lorelai gave Rory some words of wisdom at a Chilton event.

7. Anytime Rory was the parent and Lorelai was the kid.

6. Who doesn't love the danceathon episode?

5. In season one when Lorelai throws Rory an awesome birthday party! One of my favorite episodes of all time, it's episode six if you haven't seen it, it's a must!

4. When they were window shopping at the mall and straight up hid from Emily.

3. Any and every conversation they've had about guys. Specifically when Lorelai asked Rory if she kissed wrong.

2. When Luke told Rory that if she kept drinking as much coffee as her mom she would grow up to be like her and Rory simply replied "Sorry. Too late." Hits ya right in the feels.

1. Drum roll please....................................

Rory's graduation speech. Come on I can't be the only one that cries every time I watch it! I'm totally making my mom take this picture with me when I graduate!

I hope you enjoyed my Gilmore Girls count down! Heres to many more awesome, hilariously memorable mother daughter moments with Lorelai and Rory!!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
