Finals week is upon us! Here is a list of the top distracting websites to make the most of your finals study breaks!
1. Distractify.com: This website offers popular stories on various topics around the world. And since the word "distract" is in the name, it is definitely worth the number one spot. It even distracted me from writing this article!
2. Koalastothemax.com: Scroll over the circles, and they grow infinitely smaller to reveal an image of a koala resting on a eucalyptus tree. This is great for those times when your brain is in a finals mush.
3. Kanyezone.com: This fun website will have you hooked in no time. Floating Kanye heads bounce around the screen as you block them from entering a purple circle labeled "Zone." Objective: don't let Kanye get into his zone.
4. Iwastesomuchtime.com: Get ready for funny memes, bright ideas, and even moments of inspiration. This site has it all. Also, if you click on the site mast, something really cool happens. I do not recommend this site for anyone looking to spend a short five minute break. You will look up from your computer screen two hours later begging for all of that precious time to come back.
5. Spotify.com: Spotify is like Pandora, but a thousand times better. It has everything: personal song selection, song repeat, playlists to follow and create, artist info pages, even a live feed so you can see what your friends and favorite musicians are listening to and sharing. It is free with just a few advertisements or $9.99 a month ad free, but students can subscribe for only $4.99 a month. Trust me, it is definitely worth the money.
6. Theodyssesyonline.com: This website is full of awesome stories and lists from college students like you. Help support us and catch a study break while you are at it. Besides, you're already here!
While you are out there "grinding for your State," remember to take a few study breaks and check out these websites!
