1.Compound Gallery
Located in Chinatown in downtown Portland, Compound offers a variety of urban inspired clothing with brands ranging from Stussy to Raised by Wolves. You are bound to find something you will enjoy in the store. The store also has an art gallery located on its second floor that is constantly updated with new installments there is never a dry moment in the store.
2. Kiriko Made
With a very low key location Kiriko is actually located in the basement of Compound Gallery, sharing the same owner. This small store offers amazing garments made from vintage fabrics found in Japan. The unique patterns and cuts of their garments scream individuality.
3. Machus
The perfect blend between high fashion and street wear, Machus offers a variety of different styles. Carrying brands such as Virgil Abloh's Off-White and now most recently Jun Takahashi's Undercover. Machus offers exclusivity to the shoppers in Portland.
4. Bait
Offering a wide variety of sneakers Bait is a small shop located on Broadway in Downtown. Also offering an in house brand, BAIT often collaborates with companies in pop culture, creating garments for that specific concept.
5. Hyden Yoo
Being a newer store on my list Hyden Yoo caught my eye from their beautifully cut and sewn pieces showcased on their window. Still being fairly small this store doesn't offer much but what they do have is extremely well made garments with a high attention for detail.
6. Buffalo Exchange
Being one of the more known stores on my list, going to Buffalo Exchange is like going on a miniature treasure hunt every time. Even though you may strike out once or twice you are bound to find something you like for a modest price.
7. Crossroads
Almost like a Buffalo Exchange I would say that Crossroads is a tier above it. With more in trend clothing and a selection of designer clothing, Crossroads would be a place I would check out if you are looking for the in trends looks.
8. The Red Light
Being one of Portland's many vintage stores, I like the Red Light due to the sheer quantity of items they have. With an entire section devoted to band tees and Hawaiian shirts, if vintage chic is your thing I would recommend this shop.
9. House of Vintage
Being like the Red Light, this vintage store is huge with an incredibly wide varity of clothing to choose from. With an almost maze like layout walking through a time machine.
10. Pacsun
Being the more mainstream store on my list I added Pacsun on here because they have recently stepped up their clothing game in a significant way. Offering probably the best basics of any store Pacsun's cuts on their garments are tailored extremely well and are reasonably priced for what you are getting.
