Wanderlust. Everyone in the world has it no matter how much they wouldn't like to admit it. Traveling the world is something that's too enticing, too good to pass up. Traveling is experiencing new cultures, getting lost for fun, and learning new things. For me, I would love travel to all kinds of places. But, since I probably won't get to travel absolutely everywhere I want to, here are the top five places I want to go to in my lifetime.
1. Tokyo, Japan
This is the easiest one for me to decide. I love everything about Tokyo, and Japan in general. Between the food, the culture, and the places in Tokyo, I would be ecstatic at the chance to go. I think the main reason I would go, however, is because I am in fact a huge nerd, and Tokyo has some of the most amazing toy stores, game stores, and cat cafe's that a nerd's heart could desire.
2. Athens, Greece
Another no-brainer, I've always been fascinated by the Greek gods and goddesses, so to be able to go to the place where it pretty much all originated would be a dream of mine. It would also be amazing to be able to try Greek food and perhaps go to some of their beautiful beaches. I would definitely be sure to take all the tours on Greek Mythology.
3. Ireland
I wouldn't care where in Ireland, but I would be happy to travel anywhere around there. The green landscape has always been so fascinating to me, and it's always just reminded me of such a magical and spiritual place. Irish accents are also the most gorgeous accents I've ever heard.
4. Rome, Italy
This one would be for the food and the history. Italy has some of the most beautiful architecture of any country I've ever seen, it's history is incredible, and I am positive the Italian food is to die for. I would spend my whole life and Italy looking at art and architecture and eating pasta and still never be bored.
5. Varanasi, India
Named one of the most spiritual places in India, Varanasi is full of spiritual temples and the sacred waters of the Ganges River. While I wouldn't mind going to most places in India, I would definitely like to go to a more spiritual place in India, and hopefully get in touch with my inner self.
