My Top 4 Picks For This Season Of 'The Bachelor'

Why I watch this guilty-pleasure show and who I think Nick Viall will chose to stick around till the end.

My Top 4 Picks For This Season Of 'The Bachelor'

I wouldn't call myself a Bachelor "super-fan" but I do find myself watching it every few seasons, especially when there is a particularly cute bachelor! And this season, Nick Viall caught my attention. But as soon as I watched the first episode, I was entertained by more than just Nick, who's making his fourth appearance on the series. I would call him not just a Bachelor super-fan but a Bachelor pro.

So this season of the Bachelor has some interesting characters. There's Corinne, a 24-year-old who is taking over her dad's company and has a nanny. Liz, who hooked up with Nick months before the show started and turned Nick down when he asked for her number. A personal favorite of mine is Danielle M., a NICU nurse who is stunning and has a beautiful heart. Among the other girls, there are also 2 teachers, a mental health counselor, business owners, an attorney, a nurse, and an aspiring dolphin trainer(who wore a "dolphin" costume on night one).

But out of the 30 original girls, there's currently 21 left and I've made my guesses for the final four. I've picked Raven, Rachel, Corinne, and Danielle M(who I hope ends up with Nick in the end).

1. Raven

Raven's a 25-year-old boutique owner from Arkansas. I think Raven will stay till the final four because for one, she's in a lot of the previews for the rest of the season & Nick seems to really enjoy being around her.

2. Rachel

My next pick is Rachel, who's an attorney from Texas. Rachel got the first impression rose on night one, which is always important because it means she stuck out to Nick immediately.

3. Corinne

Then there's Corinne, who is obviously the drama character of this season. She's taking over her 3dads company but loves, more like needs, to be the center of attention at all time. Corinne kissed Nick on night one, took her swimsuit top off on the first group date and made Nick touch her boobs. She also did get the group date rose and didn't show up to the rose ceremony after another girl interrupted her time with Nick at the cocktail party. Did I mention she's 24 and has a nanny??? Corinne entranced Nick with her sex appeal & confidence which I think will keep her around for a long time, but I can only hope Nick sees past that and realizes who Corinne really is.

4. Danielle M.

Last, but definitely not least is my favorite girl, Danielle M. Danielle has pretty blond hair, is super soft spoken and is a NICU nurse. Danielle got the first one-on-one date where they took a helicopter ride over the coast of LA and then hung out on a yacht afterwards, sounds like a pretty perfect first date. But seeing that Danielle had the honor of the first one-on-one AND opened up, which you can tell Nick really appreciated and meant a lot to him.

But despite whatever happens and who gets a rose and who doesn't, the Bachelor is a prime form of entertainment and I'll keep watching just for the pure drama but also to watch the amazing dates these girls get to go on. Because who wouldn't want to date a hot guy and go on extravagant dates and exotic locations every week??

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
