If you are a first timer to Korean Drama's you may be wondering which ones you should spend your time on. This is a list of all of the best Korean Drama's I have watched over the past year. If you are already a fan of Korean Drama's, check to see if your favorite made the cut.

1. The Spring Day of my Life

Starring Lee Joon Hyuk and Choi Sooyoung

Lee Bom-yi was once a terminally ill patient, but she's been given a second chance at life after getting a heart transplant and now lives each day to the fullest. She meets Kang Dong-ha, the CEO of Hanuiron and a widower with two children who lost his wife to an accident. Bom-yi falls for Dong-ha, not knowing that her donor was Dong-ha's wife.


2. Love me if you Dare (Chinese Drama)

Starring Wallace Huo and Sandra Ma

Bo Jinyan is a world renowned criminal psychologist and he is also a mentor to Jian Yao who works as his interpreter and assistant. He has a high IQ and a low EQ and his peculiar personality often leads to awkwardly comical situations. He is the opposite to the sweet, warm and caring Jian Yao yet the two have a flourishing partnership as they investigate the most difficult cases with the help of friends Li Xun Ran, Fu Zi Yu, etc.


3. Rookie Agent Rouge (Chinese Drama)

Starring Lu Yi and Zhao Li Ying

Lan Yan Zhi is a privileged banker’s daughter in Shanghai and a student activist who mistakenly comes into possession of a letter from the Japanese Army in 1937. She gets misunderstood for a spy by her crush, Zhou Yu Hao, an upstanding officer in the Chinese Army. To prove her innocence, Yan Zhi agrees to infiltrate the home of her best friend, Feng Man Na, and help Yu Hao track down a mysterious “Mister Traitor.”


4. Behind Your Smile (Taiwanese Drama)

Starring Marcus Chang and Eugenie Liu

Zhao Yiting lives a cold and meaningless life as he tries to pursue the only goal he knows: destroying the person, who took everything from him. As he lost his father because of Lin Man, he decides to take revenge on her. At the same time, Lin Man's daughter Xinyu returns home to surprise her mother, but the woman has fled due to numerous charges against her. Xinyu is now destitute and has an angry mob after her, so Yiting helps her, while harboring ulterior motives. However, since Xinyu is naive, gentle and kind, Yiting starts to get conflicted about his feelings for her.


5. Just You (Taiwanese Drama)

Starring Aaron Yan and Puff Guo


After paying her rent six months in advance, Liang Liang Chen receives a court notification that her home will be seized. New owner Yi Chi doesn't make it any easier when he holds her house deed hostage and practically threatens her to move out. As if things couldn't get any worse, Liang Liang's new boss steps into the office, and declares a ban on office romance. Who would’ve guessed that the new boss is none other than her newest enemy.

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes.
