Winter just might be my favorite season. It's perfectly acceptable to get in comfy PJs, wrap yourself in a blanket, park yourself on a couch and binge watch television all night long. This is what I live for.

That being said, the part I hate most about this comfy binging process is actually picking the show to binge. There's way too many choices when you start considering all the options on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon...the list goes on. That's why I always have a list of go to shows I can binge all day long.

Here are my top six guilty pleasure TV shows:

1. Bridezillas

This amazing show was sadly pulled after 10 seasons but can still be found online. The show followed soon to be brides and their rather dramatic journey to the altar. I love the show for the ridiculous outbursts the brides have over the most insignificant things -- it's a silly and entertaining hour of television.

2. Jersey Shore

Who didn't love this show in high school? Jersey Shore is the pinnacle of reality television and it's still held up after all these years. The show follows eight young men and woman as they stay in Seaside, NJ for a whole summer where they party, work, and of course GTL. There are still some great one liners (thanks to Pauly D) and it's alway fun to watch them fight.

3. Catfish

I am an avid Catfish lover. The show follows people who are involved in online relationships and they write into the show to see if the people they're involved with are who they say they are. The hosts, Nev and Max, do some detective work and usually make the couple meet to answer that question. I really enjoy watching these relationships unfold and hearing the ridiculous backstory behind them.

4. True Life

Another MTV gem! True Life is a reality show that highlights a different topic every episode. So, one episode can be "True Life: I'm Obsessed with My Ex" and they'll follow the stories of two people obsessed with their ex. They have followed every topic under the sun, from very silly to extremely serious. It's one of the more enlightening shows on the list.

5. My Strange Addiction

I watch this purely for the "oh my god, I can't believe this is actually real this is gross why am I watching this" factor. This show follows individuals with rather unusual addictions. The addictions can be as silly as being in a relationship with inflatable pool toys, or as serious as drinking nail polish. Either way, I can promise you you're going to be throughly entertained.

6. Four Weddings

This show follows four brides and the weddings they have planned. Each bride attends each other's wedding and scores it, at the end of the show whoever's wedding scores the highest wins a honeymoon trip. I watch this for two reasons: I like seeing the extravagant weddings these people plan for no apparent reason and it's always a little fun to see these woman get catty af with each other.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Whether you're commuting or dorming, your first year of college is a huge adjustment. The transition from living with parents to being on my own was an experience I couldn't have even imagined- both a good and a bad thing. Here's a personal archive of a few of the things I learned after going away for the first time.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
