Have you ever noticed how right after spring break it seems almost impossible to get motivated again? Completing homework, doing chores, or even reading one chapter of a book seems to be a strenuous task. With these top four methods you will be motivated in no time:

1. Get Organized

Getting organized truly helps you realize what needs to stay and what needs to go. With a simple task such as this one, once you have cleaned out your backpack and organized your folders, it will be easier to see what you need to do and will slowly push you toward a motivated and better you.

2. Write a List

Write a list of all the reasons why you need to be motivated. What are your goals? What do you want to achieve and how are you going to achieve it?

3. Take Breaks

After you have completed a few minor tasks, take a break! Take a break in between two or three tasks to make sure that you're not exhausted. You could grab a snack, watch ten minutes of a show, etc.

4. Negotiate

Negotiate with yourself. For example, get that biology project done before the end of the week and then allow yourself to splurge and binge watch a season on Netflix. By creating these negotiations you are forcing to get work done in order for a nice reward.

Overall, whether you follow these four tips or do something of your own, it's not easy to get back into the strenuous, stressful, and anxiety-prone lifestyle that so many students follow at school. Make sure you take breaks and treat yourself once you have completed all of your hard work.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
